Rent a Privilege Marine catamaran
Alliaura Marine, whose shipyard is located on the iconic site of Les Sables-d'Olonne, is world-renowned for its high-end positioning. Manufacturer of the famous Feeling, Privilège, Transcat and Tresco Line series, this company, which brings together experienced and highly qualified engineers, excels in the segment of pleasure catamarans over 15 meters in length. With its perfect mastery of polyester and carbon fiber sailboat construction, Alliaura Marine continues to expand its product line while remaining in a niche market. All series combined, the brand now has approximately 3,000 units sailing the seas around the world. From 1985 to the present dayTwo-time solo racing world champion Philippe Jeantot designed a comfortable, safe and sufficiently robust catamaran to accommodate his family during his cruises. These three key elements remain the basic criteria of the Privilège Marine shipyard to this day. After founding the Jeantot Marine shipyard in 1985, Philippe Jeantot unveiled his very first unit at an exhibition in Paris. The unit quickly won over enthusiasts, who promptly placed their orders. And so the founder of Privilege Jeantot put his experience and love of sailing to work building Privilege catamarans.Meeting all expectations in terms of safety, performance and comfort, the shipyard took the mast top of the European market in the manufacture of cruising catamarans in 1989. Its reputation, surpassing that of its American competitors, has made the shipyard a benchmark in the field. In 1992, Privilege Marine won the International Quality Trophy. In the United States, Privilege boats were voted boat of the year in 1995.It must be admitted that Privilege catamarans, such as the Privilege 12, combine comfort and safety with poise. Comfort optimized by the volume in the central part, providing sufficient space for the front cabins and the Owner's Suite. Comfort and safety are also felt in rough seas, when the rostrum, in direct contact with the wave, prevents the bows from digging in.Under the protection of Alliaura Marine, in 1996, the Privilege range quickly made a name for itself at the top end of the market, particularly with catamarans over 15 meters. More than 60 vessels, such as the Privilege 745, left the factories and were sent to the four corners of the world. In 2012, the company hired a new experienced team, headed by Gilles Wagner. In 2017, the company merged with HanseYachts, a world-renowned German group.
