Robertson et Caine Yachts
Considered the most important shipyard in South Africa, Robertson & Caine has launched more than 1,000 boats since its creation in 1991. To break into the pleasure boat market, its two founders, John Robertson and Jerry Caine, prioritized the manufacture of custom-made units ranging from 36 to 70 feet. In its factory near the port of Cape Town, South Africa, it produced both fiberglass boats with one hull and luxury carbon fiber models. The excellent reputation that this African shipyard has forged for itself is of course due to the quality of its catamarans, but also to its policy of continuous innovation.Today, Robertson & Caine benefits from more than 20 years of experience and is one of the world's best-selling multihulls, dominating the lucrative North American market in particular. The brand has also received several awards since its inception. The Leopard 45, for example, was voted "Charter Yacht of the Year 1998" by the specialist magazine Cruising World. While the Leopard 44 and Leopard 48 won the prestigious "Best Multihull" award from the same magazine in 2012 and 2013 respectively.
