We have 6 sailboat charter bases on the Spanish Coast, including 5 on the Costa Brava (in the north). The Costa Brava is an ideal place for sailing, with a generally moderate thermal wind during the day, which at night turns into a gentle land breeze that makes for pleasant anchorages.
Its impressive landscapes full of contrasts, its rocky morphology with numerous sandy coves, its crystal-clear waters and its modern leisure ports make this part of the Catalan coastline one of the best destinations in the western Mediterranean for yachting.
Adjustment of course and speed towards the most beautiful beaches of the Costa del Sol
Bordered to the east by the province of Granada and to the west by the province of Cadiz, the Costa del Sol offers beachgoers a 161 km long coastline, water sports enthusiasts and yachtsmen who will fall under the spell of its charming seaside resorts. No fewer than 125 sunny, sandy beaches await you for a successful vacation on the Mediterranean. Only a yacht charter on the Costa del Sol will allow you to enjoy its most beautiful tourist attractions. The beaches of the Costa del Sol, whether peaceful or a meeting place for party animals and water sports enthusiasts, are very popular.
La Playa de Burriana, in the municipality of Nerja, holds no secrets for fans of water-jet-powered motorized kayaking, an unmissable activity in Nerja. This fine sandy beach, 800 meters long, also has a few restaurants and shops along its promenade and offers playgrounds for children. A family sea kayak session will take you to Maro beach, where a swim in the crystal clear waters is a must!
Malaspequera beach, also known as Playa Torrebermeja, is more geared towards eco-tourists. Awarded the Blue Flag on several occasions, this beach in Benalmadena also boasts a world-renowned eco-label due to its proximity to large green spaces that immerse you in an exotic Mediterranean atmosphere. In addition to nautical leisure activities, kayaking and paddle boarding are also available.
With the family or as a couple, head for the fine sandy beaches of Cabipino, located to the east of Marbella, and Carihuela, in Torremolinos. Despite its growing reputation, Cabipino still offers a quiet place to enjoy your family swims in its shallow waters. Carihuela is the largest of Torremolinos and will allow you to veer towards some water activities in its clear, shallow waters.
Your stopovers on the Costa del Sol
In addition to the beaches, the Costa del Sol is also home to towns and villages where you can explore with family, friends or as a couple during your cruise in the south of Spain. Malaga is the best place for your historical vacation. The cultural center of the Costa del Sol, Malaga is the birthplace of the painter Picasso and is home to a number of historical remains that will entertain lovers of old stones, such as the castle of Gibralfaro, built in the 14th century.
The town of Marbella will entertain you in a thousand ways. In addition to being Spain's most famous seaside resort thanks to its festive atmosphere and climate, the very chic Marbella is also an interesting stopover for budding historians. The latter will take great pleasure in strolling through the flower-lined streets of its historic quarter, where whitewashed walls stand side by side with the ramparts of an Arab fortress dating from the 9th century. Don't forget to stop off at Ronda, where you will find the famous New Bridge spanning a gorge more than 170 meters deep.
