Yacht charter

Last updated on 8 April 2025

If you're looking for an unforgettable and unique cruise, Filovent invites you to try yacht charter in Tricomalee, in the northeast of Sri Lanka. A little pearl in the Indian Ocean, Sri Lanka has magnificent isolated, almost deserted, sandy beaches that will certainly enchant those seeking peace and quiet. This is the case of Tricomalee, also known as Trincomalee.

A charming port city located about a hundred kilometers from the city of Kandy, Trincomalee is close to the most beautiful bay on the east coast of the island. Needless to say, the landscape in this region of Sri Lanka is breathtaking. On the beach, fishermen flock in the early morning as the island gradually wakes up. While enjoying a stroll through the heart of the village, you can admire the Koneswaram temple, overlooking a hill, which jealously watches over the eastern coast.

Want to go further afield? Take the train and explore the island and its remote corners. From the the sea, yachtsmen will relish their little trip along the north-eastern coasts of Sri Lanka, leading to a few isolated sandy beaches, such as Nilaveli beach, located a little further north, ideal for fishing and swimming.
