Grenadines catamaran charter with or without skipper

Last updated on 24 April 2026

Why go to the Grenadines on a catamaran?

Catamaran charter is an ideal solution for visiting the Grenadines archipelago, whose islands extend for close to 100 kilometers. Located between the island of Saint Vincent to the north and the island of Grenada to the south, the Grenadines archipelago reveals all its beauty during a getaway in the Caribbean Sea. With their isolated beaches, coconut palms and turquoise waters, the Grenadine islands are made for those in search of peace and quiet. This part of the Caribbean has in fact been preserved from mass tourism and is geared towards upmarket tourism. Whether you opt for a package with or without a skipper depending on your experience, let yourself be amazed by the beauty of the unspoiled landscapes of the Grenadines. Not to mention the undeniable assets of this archipelago for diving and water sports enthusiasts.

Services available for your catamaran charter in the Grenadines

Here are the different services we offer for catamaran charters in the archipelago or even for sailboat charters in the Grenadines:

  • Bareboat catamaran charter: if a member of your crew has sailing experience, they will be able to manoeuvre the sailboat. The boat will be entirely private and you can enjoy your cruise in the Grenadines with family or friends.
  • Catamaran charter with skipper: this is the ideal option if no one can skipper the boat or if you want to enjoy a relaxing vacation. The professional skipper will take care of maneuvering the boat and you will benefit from his knowledge of the area to take you to the best anchorages and restaurants.
  • Crewed catamaran charter: this type of service will be included on luxury boats over 20 meters. A crew usually consists of a captain, a cook and a hostess. The crew will take care of you and make sure you have an unforgettable private yacht charter!

Our prices for a catamaran charter in the Grenadines

The price varies according to the season, availability, the model of the boat and the services included. Here is a dead reckoning of the average rates for a one-week charter in the Grenadines without a crew or skipper:

If you would like to rent a yacht in the Grenadines, please contact us directly for a price list. The price range for this type of model is very wide. Lina, our specialist in the crewed & luxury boats segment, will be able to send you the best offers.

We recommend that you take out our cancellation insurance for your yacht charter in the Grenadines. It will cover all members of the crew, whereas individual cancellation insurance or insurance via your bank card will only cover the policyholder.

We also encourage our customers to take out damage waiver insurance. On a boat, damage can happen to even the best sailors. This insurance will allow you to recover a significant portion of your deposit in the event of damage related to navigation.

Practical information about sailing

The Caribbean islands have a tropical climate. The best time for a catamaran charter in the Grenadines is the dry season from December to April, when temperatures are around 25 degrees. Avoid sailing during the wettest and hottest period, which runs from June to September, with an average temperature of 30 degrees and tropical storms that will make your 10-day catamaran cruise in the Grenadines an unpleasant experience! On the windward side, the trade winds blow steadily over the archipelago. The stability that a catamaran charter provides on the water is ideal for sailing in this area, but you will need to be vigilant for coral reefs and sandbanks.

The best places for sailing in the Grenadines

Whether for a cruise in the Grenadines or a yacht charter, the archipelago offers a wide variety of landscapes, from the black beaches of the volcanic islands to the sublime white sand beaches, passing by the steep cliffs eroded by the Caribbean Sea. It's no surprise that these paradisiacal landscapes were used as the setting for the Pirates of the Caribbean movie saga. This diversity means you can vary the activities to suit your tastes during your catamaran charter in the Grenadines.

  • Union Island for hiking enthusiasts who will enjoy a strenuous excursion in the rainforest
  • Bequia or Carriacou islands to admire the beauty and authenticity of Petite Martinique
  • Tobago Cays for its incredible seabed to observe
  • The islands of Mosquito, Petit Saint Martin and even Canouan to admire the sumptuous villas and luxury residences.
