After breakfast, we embark on an optional panoramic tour of the Austrian... see+ capital's most important landmarks: the Opera House, City Hall, Parliament, Burgtheater and the splendid Imperial Hofburg Palace. In the afternoon, enjoy the city at your own pace, or take an optional tour of Schönbrunn Palace. At midnight, the ship leaves the Austrian capital and sails towards the Wachau Valley. Overnight on board.

Vienne Melk Dürnstein
Full board on board. Early in the morning, we moor in Melk, a small town in the heart of the... see+ magnificent Wachau Valley. It's world-famous for its Benedictine abbey on top of a rock overlooking the river (optional visit). At midday, we leave Melk to enjoy the scenery of the magnificent Wachau Valley. After lunch, we arrive in Dürnstein, a charming village in the heart of the winding Wachau valley, with a medieval castle. From the landing stage, you can walk directly into the historic town center, through the medieval town gates to Pranger Square. From here, you have a fine view of the castle ruins, famous for being the place where Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned. Don't miss the opportunity to taste the wines typical of the Wachau region. In the late afternoon, the ship leaves Dürnstein and sails for Hungary. Overnight on board.

Full board on board. After lunch, we arrive in Esztergom. This is an important place in Hungarian... see+ history, as it was the first capital of the Kingdom of Hungary, and it was here that the first king, Stephen I, was crowned in the year 1000. The Esztergom Basilica is Hungary's largest church and the city's symbol. Inside is Hungary's largest organ. At dinnertime, we head for Budapest, arriving at midnight. Night stopover in the city. Night on board.

The Danube separates Buda... see+ and Pest by its immensity, two great cities that today unite to form one of Europe's most important capitals. Huge bridges link the two banks, linking Buda, former royal seat and most elegant residential district, and Pest, the economic and commercial heart of the city. Our optional guided tour takes you along wide boulevards to the famous Parliament, the Opera House, Heroes' Square, the Market Halls, the Chain Bridge and the Fisherman's Bastion with its spectacular views over the city. Full board on board. We'll remain anchored in Budapest until lunchtime. One of the best ways to... see+ enjoy the panoramic view of the Danube and part of the World Heritage Site is to take streetcar number 2 from the Marguerite Bridge to the Petõfi Bridge. Alternatively, we encourage you to bathe in the waters of one of Budapest's world-famous thermal baths. The most famous are the Széchenyi Thermal Baths and the Gellért Thermal Baths. In the afternoon, enjoy the view of the Danube and its banks. Overnight on board.

Full board on board. Early in the morning, we arrive in Bratislava, capital of Slovakia. Our... see+ optional guided tour will take you around this imperial city. Among other fascinating sights, we'll see the National Theater, San Martín Cathedral, Puerta de Miguel, the old town hall and the impressive rock-top fortress. In the afternoon, we leave Bratislava and head for Vienna. In the evening, dinner with the Captain. Night on board.
