Melk Dürnstein
Optional authentic excursion/experience: visit to Melk Abbey. A masterpiece of Gothic architecture,... see+ the abbey dominates the splendid Wachau valley. The ochre color of the grandiose façade is reminiscent of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. The abbey's interior also boasts magnificent Baroque frescoes and a library containing some 100,000 volumes, including some of the most precious manuscripts of the Middle Ages.

Return on board and sail to Dürnstein, which we reach in the early afternoon. Discover this small medieval town, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its architectural heritage. The village is packed with sights, including the elegant baroque bell tower of the Dünstein church, the medieval and Renaissance facades of the town hall and the colorful houses in the main alley. Return to the ship in the late afternoon and continue on to Bratislava.

Dürnstein Bratislava Kalocsa
Early morning arrival in Bratislava. Optional excursions:
- Authentic: visit Bratislava. Situated... see+ at the foot of the Little Carpathians, Bratislava is surrounded by woods and rocks. Its castle, the city's emblem, stands on a hill above the Danube. From its forecourt, you can enjoy a unique view of the city and the river. The medieval old town is not to be outdone, with its maze of winding streets, squares, fountains and cafés. Bratislava is also known for its intense cultural and nightlife scene.
- Experience: hiking in the Little Carpathians, through the Devinska Kobyla nature reserve. This Slovakian nature reserve, just a few kilometers from the capital, takes you to the ruins of Devin Castle, from where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Danube.

Afternoon sailing to Kalocsa. You'll pass the Gabcíkovo dam, one of the largest on the Danube. You'll sail past the protected landscape park of Dunajské Luhy, a marshland that is a crucial environment for rare bird species, one of the most important nesting areas and an exceptional ornithological territory.

Kalocsa Budapest
Early morning arrival. Optional authentic excursion/experience: the Puszta. In the heart of... see+ Hungary's great plain, now a nature reserve, you'll travel on horse-drawn carts across the wild steppes. You'll be treated to an equestrian show where you can admire the riders and their horses. The tour ends with a tasting of local products.

Afternoon sailing to Budapest, the "Pearl of the Danube", which we'll reach by night.

Budapest Esztergom
Optional excursion included in both packages: Guided tour of Budapest. Budapest reveals its... see+ splendor around the Danube. The architecture designed by men century after century has given rise to Baroque, Neoclassical, and Art Nouveau buildings. Panoramic tour between the hills of Buda and the plains of Pest... Then you will follow the river where you can admire the parliament overlooking the Danube. Return to the boat. Free afternoon or optional excursions not included in the package: - Visit to the Széchenyi Baths. Drive to this vast thermal complex. Nestled in the heart of Budapest, the Széchenyi Baths are a true architectural gem in the neo-baroque style. A brief tour will allow you to discover the baths before you enjoy the indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, and steam rooms, or relax in a steamy pool. So don't forget your swimsuits, this is a unique opportunity. Return to the boat. Or - visit the Budapest Market Hall. Walk to the Budapest market halls. With its sparkling Zsolnay tile roof, Budapest's Great Central Market is the largest market hall built in the 19th century. You will discover an incredible display of diverse and varied products, including the famous paprika garlands. A tasting of local Hungarian specialties will round off your visit. Return to the boat by foot.
Optional authentic excursion/experience: folkloric evening in Budapest, where you will discover traditional Gypsy dances and costumes. Overnight sailing to Esztergom.

Esztergom Vienne
Free time to explore Esztergom, the ancient Hungarian capital with its charm intact. Set on a hill,... see+ the city stretches peacefully along the banks of the Danube. The town has many unsuspected treasures, including the elegant Basilica, whose 177-meter-high silhouette overlooks the river, and the historic center of colorful houses.

Afternoon sailing to Vienna. The entire Hungarian section of the Danube is protected as a Natura 2000 site, providing vital habitats for endangered species. Further on, you'll see the Komarom fortress, a perfect example of Central European military architecture. Gala evening.

Morning optional excursions:
- Authentic: visit Schoenbrunn Palace and take a panoramic tour of... see+ Vienna. A prestigious court center in the 18th century, the castle's ochre facade is closely linked to the dual Austro-Hungarian monarchy. The splendid edifice is home to eminently refined imperial furnishings, and the spirit of the Habsburgs watches over the dazzling residence. Then take a panoramic tour of the famous boulevard known as "the Ring". You'll see the exceptional monuments built between 1830 and 1890 that give it its unique atmosphere.
- Experience Vienna as the Viennese do. You'll discover one of Vienna's most important concert venues, the famous Konzerthaus. Inaugurated in 1913 by Emperor Franz Joseph, since then tradition and innovation have constantly evolved to become one of the most popular venues for musical ensembles. Then it's off to one of the city's many cafés for a cup of Viennese coffee. You'll have to go back to imperial times to discover its origins. During the harsh winters, carriage drivers would drink a hot cup of coffee topped with whipped cream between each run, to keep them going. The "coachman's coffee" or "Einspänner" was later called Viennese coffee outside Austria.
In the afternoon, optional authentic excursion/experience: visit the Hofburg. Located in the historic heart of Vienna, the Hofburg is an astonishing sight. It exudes the sense of excess and splendor associated with imperial power. Nevertheless, it is a fascinating place for history and architecture enthusiasts. Today, the imperial apartments house the "Sissi" museum, where the seductive empress has become a cult figure adored by all.

In the evening, optional authentic excursion/experience: Viennese music concert (subject to availability). In a legendary Viennese venue, enjoy some of the finest works by Mozart and Strauss, and let yourself be transported to the rhythm of waltzes, polkas, arias...
