Your journey begins with a drive to Bucharest, Romania's vibrant capital. With approximately 1.8 million inhabitants, Bucharest is the seventh-largest city in Europe and a center of culture, history, and architecture. On Bucharest's wide boulevards, you'll... see+ pass the imposing Triumphal Arch, reminiscent of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, and the impressive Unity Square, where four of the city's six districts converge. The ornate fountains surrounding the square provide a charming sight.

A special highlight of your trip is a visit to the monumental Palace of the Parliament, one of the largest buildings in the world and a striking symbol of Romanian history. This architectural masterpiece, also known as the "House of the People," was built during the regime of Nicolae Ceau?escu and offers fascinating insights into the power structures and ambitions of the time. During the guided tour of the interior of this impressive building, you can admire the magnificent halls, marble staircases, and impressive architectural details that reflect the monumental character of the palace.

The tour continues along Liberty Boulevard and the historic Revolution Square, where you can admire the Rebirth Monument, which commemorates the 1989 revolution.

At almost 3,000 km long, the Danube is Europe's second-largest river. It winds its way through ten countries, constantly changing its character. At times, it is so wide and shallow that it seems to stand still; at others, it branches off into ever smaller... see+ estuaries. The vast Danube Delta, where the Danube flows into the Black Sea, is particularly home to many different aquatic creatures, birds, and plants, and the flora and fauna found there make it an unforgettable experience.
It is a unique ecosystem and Europe's only wetland. It is home to over 4,000 animal and over 1,000 plant species.
From Harsova, you will be taken to Tulcea, where you will board the boats and begin a boat ride lasting approximately 3.5 hours. This will allow you to experience the breathtaking nature of the Danube Delta even more intensely and fully enjoy part of this UNESCO World Heritage site. You can also observe the extraordinary birdlife up close.
