Departure for a visit to Beloeil Castle and the Chant d'Éole estate. Drive to Beloeil Castle, nicknamed the "Belgian Versailles," which contains a rich collection of art objects from the 15th to the 19th century, including the Beloeil library, which houses more than 20,000 books and precious manuscripts. The furniture is a sample of the work of the best French cabinetmakers of the 17th and 18th centuries. The paintings depict most of the members of the family who lived there and recount the highlights of their lives. Continue on to the Chant d'Éole estate. Born from a meeting between a Champagne winegrower and a family of Belgian farmers, the wine estate draws inspiration from the best techniques developed to date to guarantee the production of sparkling wines that are faithful to the Belgian terroir. A guided tour will take you to the heart of the vineyard's history. Passionate guides will explain the different stages of wine production, from planting to bottling, including the choice of grape varieties, vine maintenance, and vinification. The tour will end with a tasting of Brut Blanc de Blancs, Brut Rosé, and Elixir Saint Georges. Return to Mons.
