The ramparts and bastions surrounding the town date back to the 13th century, and there are some superb churches and museums to visit.

Early departure for the Paklinski Islands, located close-hauled to Hvar (the longest island in the... see+ Adriatic), for lunch and a swim stop. Later, optional guided tour of Hvar in the afternoon (included for the Premium Superior category), a town that looks like a real movie set. The Renaissance cathedral still has its original bell tower, and the town is home to the oldest municipal theater in Europe, founded in 1612. For the more adventurous, Hvar offers an additional challenge: the Španjola Fortress, perched on a hill above the town, has proudly dominated the area for centuries. Rediscover history from a different angle!
Those looking for entertainment will also find what they're looking for—the town is full of restaurants and bars that stay open late into the night. Don't forget to buy some local lavender from the market stalls. Overnight in Hvar.

Enjoy a pleasant walk through the pine forest connecting Bol to Zlatni Rat beach, or take the tourist train (additional charge). After lunch, sail to Split—the approach to the Split Riviera is magnificent and offers splendid views from the boat. Upon arrival in the early afternoon, take part in the optional guided tour of Split, a monumental city listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site with the famous Roman Diocletian's Palace.
