Corfou Saranda
Morning sail towards Corfu, the noble island of the Ionian Sea. According to Homer’s Odyssey, it... see+ was off the coast of Corfu that Ulysses was shipwrecked before returning to his native island.
In the afternoon, optional excursion: Corfu. You will discover the old town of Corfu, which has remained intact and reveals a mosaic of cultures. From the Venetians to the English, passing through the French, Russians, and Greeks, several peoples left their mark there. The city developed between two fortresses surrounded by walls. It is a maze of narrow streets and vaulted passages, with its most famous monument, the Church of Saint Spyridon, surprising visitors with its rich Byzantine icons. You will then visit the Achilleion Palace. Perched on a hill, this neoclassical Pompeian-style residence was built in the 1890s as a summer palace for Empress Elisabeth of Austria (nicknamed Sissi). The terraced garden offers superb panoramic views (as the Achilleion is currently closed for restoration, the visit will be replaced by that of the Corfu Archaeological Museum). Return on board. Dancing evening.

Saranda Vlores
Early in the morning, sail towards Saranda. In the morning, optional excursion: the ancient site of... see+ Butrint (duration ~4h - including ~1h40 of travel). The archaeological site of Butrint was an important stop on trade routes. The view of its enclosure, dating back to the 6th century BC, is enough to evoke the city's economic and commercial power at the time. Overlooking the hill, the acropolis offers a strategic view of the site. You can admire the ruins of the baths and the Byzantine church.
In the afternoon, optional excursion: the medieval city of Gjirokastra (duration ~5h - including ~3h of travel). You will discover a typical Ottoman town with preserved heritage. The must-see attraction of this city is the visit to the citadel, offering a panorama of the Drinos Valley. In the old town, you will admire original houses, cobblestone streets with various black, white, and pink patterns. The different districts of the old town each have their own personality. Departure by coach towards the hilly and mountainous landscapes that hold some of Albania's key sites. You will visit Berat, the "city of a thousand windows." This Ottoman village, nestled in pristine nature, is incredibly well-preserved due to its geographic location. Its historic heart, a true "museum city" with suspended houses built on the slopes of a steep hill, is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site as a rare example of an architectural style typical of the Ottoman period. Then, head towards the largest archaeological site in Albania. Apollonia features the fronton of the Temple of Artemis, supported by five Corinthian columns in front of the Obelisk of Apollo, the theater, the odeon, and the colonnade of shops. A flourishing Greek and later Roman city, it was granted the title of Free City by Caesar. Return aboard. Evening entertainment.
