Next, you'll see the imposing three-storey Gefion fountain. Further along the waterfront, you'll see the Little Mermaid. Finally, admire the exteriors of one of Denmark's most beautiful churches and Rosenborg Castle, home to the royal family's personal collections.

Stralsund Rügen Greifswald
In the morning, optional excursion: the island of Rügen. This Baltic gem offers unparalleled... see+ diversity, with cliffs, piers, capes, white sandy beaches, pine forests, architecture, and more. You'll catch sight of Putbus, nicknamed the White City or "Rosenstadt" due to the roses adorning the facades of historic buildings. Jasmund National Park is particularly renowned for its "Stubbenkammer," chalk and granite cliffs made famous, in part, by Caspar David Friedrich's internationally acclaimed painting. Then, you'll head to the seaside resort of Binz, where you can stroll along the pier or its long promenade set slightly back from the square lined with beautiful late 19th-century houses. Return on board.
In the afternoon, optional excursion: Stralsund. The medieval city of Stralsund was an important trading center of the Hanseatic League in the 14th and 15th centuries. It notably contributed to the development of the characteristic building types and construction techniques of the "Brick Gothic" in the Baltic region. Stralsund's town hall is a fine example of this typical architecture. You'll also discover St. Nicholas Church, St. Jacob's Church, and St. Catherine's Monastery. The entire old town is protected as a historical value zone, providing visitors with a unique example of Hanseatic cultural heritage. Return on board and departure for Greifswald. Arrival in the evening.

Activities: Optional services: Walking tour of Stralsund, Panoramic tour of Rügen Island, see+

Greifswald Wolgast Usedom Wolgast
Optional excursion: Greifswald. The historic heart of the city is a jewel of Hanseatic... see+ architecture, with its ochre, red, blue and white monuments. It is the only intact Hanseatic city in Germany. It's also a traditional university town, where the Romantic painter Caspar David Friedrich was born and studied. You'll see the city's great churches, Little Jacob, Big Mary and the Great Nicholas Cathedral, the town hall and Greifswald's oldest pharmacy, built in the neo-Gothic style in the 16th century.
Return on board and sail to Wolgast. Passage through the Peenestrom estuary. Arrival in Wolgast in the afternoon.
Optional excursion: the island of Usedom. Hardly anywhere else can you admire so many different landforms in such a small space: beaches on the Baltic Sea and coasts facing the mainland, lakes and peat bogs, dunes, pine or beech forests and seaside resorts form a mosaic that's astonishing in its diversity. The seaside resorts of Ahlbeck and Heringsdorf are known as the "Kaiserbäder" (emperor's baths), being the favorite vacation spots of Emperor Wilhelm II.
Return on board. Evening entertainment.

Wolgast Szczecin
Early morning departure. Morning sailing in the Szczecin lagoon, arriving late morning.
In the... see+ afternoon, optional excursion: Szczecin. For centuries, this has been the crossroads linking Western and Eastern Europe, Scandinavia and Southern Europe. You'll discover the courtyard of the Dukes of Pomerania's castle, from which you can enjoy a superb view of the city. Badly damaged during the war, the castle was rebuilt in the Renaissance style of the late 16th century. You'll see St. John's Basilica, the former town hall, one of Szczecin's most beautiful buildings and the only vestige of the old town, razed to the ground in 1945. A succession of stylized bourgeois houses, recently built behind the town hall, form a striking contrast with the concrete blocks of the Communist era. Return on board.

Szczecin Lunow Lichterfelde
Morning sailing to Lunow. You'll sail along the Lower Oder Valley National Park, an impressive... see+ landscape of alluvial plains stretching for over 60 km along the German and Polish banks of the Oder.
In the afternoon, optional excursion: the Cistercian monastery of Chorin. The monastery's impressive building is set in landscaped grounds in the heart of the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve. It is one of the most important historic buildings of early Gothic brick architecture in Brandenburg. Built in 1273 as a monastery for the Margrave of Brandenburg, its forms and ornamentation are reminiscent of the great cathedrals of Cologne, Paris and Siena. In the 19th century, architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel played a key role in the building's preservation.
Return to Oderberg and continue your cruise.
