Cairo
After a delicious breakfast, you'll set off to discover the mythical Giza Plateau, the symbol of... see+ ancient Egypt. You will be amazed by the imposing pyramids of Kheops, Khephren and Mykerinos. The pyramid of Khufu, built around 2650 BC, is the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still standing and has retained its prestige down the centuries. Khephren, although slightly smaller, seems higher because of its inclination and its location on raised ground. Mykerinos, on the other hand, is more modest at 66 metres high but no less impressive. Not far from these legendary monuments, you can admire the Sphinx, a majestic guardian with the head of a pharaoh and the body of a lion, sculpted from a single block of stone. At 73 metres long and 20 metres high, it has watched over the sacred tombs for thousands of years.
After lunch, with a breathtaking view of these marvels, we head for Memphis and Saqqarah. Once the capital of the Egyptian Empire, Memphis is now only survived by a few ruins scattered around a palm grove, including a mysterious alabaster sphinx. At Saqqara, you will discover an immense necropolis containing the burial complex of King Djeser, dominated by his famous step pyramid, considered to be the very first pyramid structure in history. At the end of the day, return to the hotel for dinner. Depending on flight times, overnight at the hotel or on the plane for the rest of your journey.

Built on an ancient sanctuary dedicated to Thutmes III, this temple is dedicated to the cult of Horus, the falcon-headed god and son of Isis and Osiris. The monumental entrance is marked by a pylon decorated with impressive reliefs depicting the king interacting with the gods. Two majestic black granite falcons, symbols of Horus, guard the doors of the temple, offering a striking vision of the grandeur of Egyptian architecture.

Kom Ombo Assouan
The day begins with breakfast on board, as your cruise reaches Kom Ombo, site of a unique temple. ... see+
Perched on a hill overlooking the Nile by 15 metres, the Ptolemaic Temple of Kom Ombo stands out for its exceptional architecture: it is the only temple in ancient Egypt to be dedicated to two deities. Built under the Ptolemaic dynasty on the remains of a New Kingdom sanctuary dedicated to Thutmose III, it honours both Haroeris, ‘Horus the Great’, and Sobek, the crocodile god. This duality is reflected throughout the structure: two separate entrances, two parallel corridors, symmetrical rooms leading to a double sanctuary. The temple's esplanade is adorned with brightly coloured sculpted columns, while to the right of the entrance, the chapel of Hathor houses astonishing crocodile mummies, testimony to the cult of Sobek.
After this fascinating visit, return on board for lunch before setting sail for Aswan, the last stop on your cruise. Take advantage of the afternoon to relax on the boat and contemplate the Nile. The day ends with dinner and a peaceful night on board, lulled by the waters of the sacred river.

Carved directly into the cliff, the Great Temple is dedicated to the god Amun-Ra, to Ramses himself and to Ptah, while the Temple of Hathor, dedicated to Queen Nefertari, offers a fascinating and unique atmosphere.
