Boarding in Aswan takes place at 12:00 p.m. There is no sightseeing program on this day to allow... see+ guests to take an optional excursion to Abu Simbel. Guests planning to visit Abu Simbel on the second day can enjoy tours of Aswan on the first day if they have a private guide. A buffet lunch and afternoon tea are served on the side of the boat, followed by a welcome reception with a complimentary alcoholic beverage and a set-menu dinner. The night is spent on board in Aswan.

Buffet breakfast on the side of the boat, followed by a morning visit to Philae Temple, Aswan Dam,... see+ and the unfinished obelisk. Buffet lunch on the side of the boat while sailing to Herdiab, where guests will have the opportunity to swim in the crystal clear waters of the Nile. The afternoon will feature tea on the side of the boat, followed by dinner on Herdiab Island with live entertainment, including an oud player and a dance performance by the staff. Dahabiehs are traditional sailing boats that navigate primarily under sail. When wind conditions do not permit it, or on certain stretches of the Nile, the boat may be towed at a distance (approximately 30 m) by a small tugboat, as dahabiehs do not have engines
