After breakfast, your guide will accompany you to the Giza Plateau to admire one of the Seven... see+ Wonders of the World: the Great Pyramids. You can walk or ride a camel to the mysterious Sphinx, half-man, half-lion, which guards the entrance to the royal tombs.
After this visit, you will have lunch in an authentic Egyptian restaurant, then travel to Saqqara to discover the Saqqara complex and the very first pyramid ever built: the Pyramid of Djoser.
Transfer to the train station to take the sleeper train to Luxor. Accommodation: Overnight on the Cairo–Aswan sleeper train side.

After a delicious breakfast on the train, your representative will welcome you at Luxor station.... see+ You will then begin your exploration of the west bank of Luxor, home to the Valley of the Kings and the tombs of the powerful pharaohs, nestled in the desert landscapes of the Nile Valley.
Your tour will continue with a visit to the magnificent funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, before passing by the imposing Colossi of Memnon. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant, followed by a return to your hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel, then departure to discover the largest religious complex in ancient Egypt:... see+ the Temple of Karnak, where the god Amun-Re reigned supreme over the Egyptian pantheon for close-hauled 2,000 years.
Departure by minibus to Esna to begin your stay on the side of your Dahabiya. Lunch on board, then peaceful sailing at the soothing pace of the wind. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Esna Edfou Bassaw
Breakfast during the cruise. Arrival in Edfu. You will then take a 15-minute horse-drawn carriage... see+ ride to the entrance of one of Egypt's best-preserved temples: the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the god Horus.
Lunch, then sailing in the afternoon. Arrival on Bassaw Island, where a walk of about 1.5 hours is planned to visit a beautiful Egyptian village and meet the locals. In the evening, get ready for a festive dinner around a campfire on the shore, in the company of the villagers. Night on the side of the boat.

Bassaw Gebel Silsileh Kom Ombo Daraw
Breakfast on the side of the boat, then departure to explore Gebel el Silsila and its largest... see+ sandstone quarry from the Pharaonic era. You will discover numerous inscriptions, steles, and decorated tombs before visiting the small rock temple of Pharaoh Horemheb. Return on board for another delicious lunch, then sail to Kom Ombo. Arriving at the temple of Kom Ombo at an ideal time, you will have the magnificent temple dedicated to two gods—Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god—almost to yourselves. At the end of the visit, you will stop by the crocodile mummy museum founded in this city. Return to the dahabeya for dinner, then sail on to Daraw.

Then, stroll through Old Cairo and visit the Hanging Church and the ancient Ben Ezra Synagogue, reputed to have been built on the spot where the Pharaoh's daughter found the baby Moses after his mother placed him in the Nile. Dahabiehs are traditional sailing boats that navigate primarily under sail. When wind conditions do not permit it, or on certain stretches of the Nile, the boat may be towed at a distance (approximately 30 m) by a small tugboat, as dahabiehs do not have engines
