Luxor El Hegz
Your journey begins on the legendary west bank of Luxor with a visit to the extraordinary Valley of... see+ the Kings, home to the magnificent tombs of Egypt’s most powerful pharaohs. You will continue on to the impressive temple of Queen Hatshepsut, an architectural masterpiece that stands out spectacularly against the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. The tour concludes with a stop at the Colossi of Memnon, the monumental statues that have guarded the ancient Theban necropolis for centuries. After these visits, transfer to Esna where you will board your elegant dahabieh and begin sailing down the Nile toward the village of El Hegz, where the boat will anchor for the night.

After the tour, the dahabieh will continue on to Fawaza Island, where you’ll spend a quiet evening surrounded by the natural beauty of the Nile.

Dahabiehs are traditional sailing boats that navigate primarily under sail. When wind conditions do not permit it, or on certain stretches of the Nile, the boat may be towed at a distance (approximately 30 m) by a small tugboat, as dahabiehs do not have engines
