- Authentic: visit Frankfurt. The city founded by Charlemagne and birthplace of Goethe is a cultural destination of choice. First, a panoramic tour reveals the city's main monuments, then a guided walking tour takes you to the Old Town, where the Römerberg is a reminder of the city's medieval past.
- Experience: panoramic tour and climb to the Main Tower. The combination of old-world charm and modern architecture's quest for elevation gives Frankfurt's city center a fascinating allure. For an exceptional view of the financial capital, the 200-metre-high Main Tower offers a grandiose panorama of the city.

Continuation on the Main to Wertheim, at the confluence of the Tauber and Main rivers. Arrive in the afternoon and explore Wertheim at your leisure. In the old town's maze of winding streets, you'll see typical half-timbered houses, fountains and pink sandstone statues, all set beside the water.

Sailing to Karlstadt. Here, the Main forms a large loop, winding its way through typical villages... see+ and nature parks. Arrival in Karlstadt in the early afternoon. Optional authentic/experiential excursion: visit Würzburg and the Residenz. The starting point of Germany's Romantic Road, Würzburg is undoubtedly one of Bavaria's most beautiful cities. Its city center is brimming with magnificent churches and palaces, reminders of its past grandeur. It was in this exceptional setting that the film “The Three Musketeers” was shot. You'll also visit the Residence, built in the 18th century by the architect Balthasar Neumann, and today considered one of the most beautiful castles in Bavaria.
Return to Würzburg and sail to Schweinfurt. Evening entertainment.

Navigation to Kelheim on the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal. Inaugurated in 1992 after 70 years of... see+ construction work, the canal covers more than 170 km. The challenge was to cross the Altmühl valley while preserving the ecological environment.
Arrival in Kelheim in the early afternoon. Optional excursion: authentic/experiential: visit Regensburg and climb to the famous Walhalla. At the gateway to eastern Bavaria, Regensburg is an open-air museum. The medieval old town is Germany's only large, well-preserved medieval city. Take a trip back to the golden age of the 12th and 13th centuries. You'll see the Gothic cathedral, towers of patrician houses that complete a unique and authentic medieval canvas, and the Walhalla, a Greek temple-like paradise of Germanic legends. This imposing pantheon, dedicated to the great men of Germany, dominates a bend in the Danube, some ten kilometers from Regensburg. Return on board to Regensburg.

Arrival in Melk. Optional authentic excursion/experience: visit to Melk Abbey. A masterpiece of... see+ Gothic architecture, the abbey dominates the splendid Wachau valley. The ochre color of the grandiose façade is reminiscent of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. The abbey's interior also boasts magnificent Baroque frescoes and a library containing some 100,000 volumes, including some of the most precious manuscripts of the Middle Ages. Return on board and sail to Passau. The river meanders through villages with bulbous steeples, picturesque houses and legendary fortresses.
Return on board and sail to Dürnstein. Free visit of this small medieval town, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its architectural heritage. The village is packed with sights, including the elegant baroque bell tower of the Dürnstein church, the medieval and Renaissance facades of the town hall and the colorful houses in the main alley. Sailing to Vienna.
Optional authentic/experiential excursion: discover Vienna “by night”. A veritable open-air museum, you'll discover the capital in all its glory. The illuminated facades reveal all their splendor. The Musikverein takes on a whole new dimension under these lights, the opera house reveals its interior decor thanks to the play of light, and on Schwarzenbergplatz you'll see the gilded bronze statue of Johann Strauss, as well as many other monuments, such as the Hofburg Palace and the Augustinian Church. You'll love this other side of Vienna.

- Authentic: visit Schoenbrunn Palace and take a panoramic tour of Vienna. A... see+ prestigious court center in the 18th century, the castle's ochre facade is closely linked to the dual Austro-Hungarian monarchy. The splendid edifice is home to eminently refined imperial furnishings, and the spirit of the Habsburgs watches over the dazzling residence. Then take a panoramic tour of the famous boulevard known as “the Ring”. You'll see the exceptional monuments built between 1830 and 1890 that give it its unique atmosphere.
- Experience Vienna as the Viennese do. Go behind the scenes at the Konzerthaus. You'll discover one of Vienna's most important concert venues, the famous Konzerthaus. Inaugurated in 1913 by Emperor Franz Joseph, the Konzerthaus has since evolved from tradition and innovation to become one of the most popular venues for musical ensembles (a visit to the Konzerthaus may be replaced by a visit to the Musikverein, or the opera house in case of performances or unavailability). You'll then head off to one of the city's many cafés for a cup of Viennese coffee. You'll have to go back to imperial times to discover its origins. In harsh winters, carriage drivers used to drink hot coffee topped with whipped cream between each run, to keep them going. The “coachman's café” or “Einspänner” was later known outside Austria as the Viennese café.
In the afternoon, free time or optional excursion: horse-drawn carriage tour of Vienna. A fun and original way to see Vienna. Let the rhythm of the horses guide you through the city, plunging you into the heart of its history. The coachman will lead you through the narrow streets of the Austrian capital to admire the magnificent Baroque buildings that adorn certain districts.

Free time to explore Esztergom, the ancient Hungarian capital with its charm intact. Set on a hill,... see+ the city stretches peacefully along the banks of the Danube. The town has many unsuspected treasures, including the elegant Basilica, whose 177-meter-high silhouette dominates the river, and the historic center of colorful houses. Sail back to Budapest.
Optional authentic excursion/experience: guided tour of Budapest “by night”. The lights brighten up the facades of the monuments, providing a spectacular backdrop. You'll catch a glimpse of the Parliament, where the buttresses, towers and dome are brought to life by clever lighting, the Chain Bridge with Buda Castle illuminated in the background, the Fishermen's Bastion with its seven towers paying homage to the seven tribes that founded Hungary, and a superb view of illuminated Pest.

The architecture designed by man century after century has given rise to Baroque, Neoclassical and Art Nouveau buildings. Take a panoramic tour of the hills of Buda and the plains of Pest... Then along the river to admire the Parliament building overlooking the Danube.

Afternoon at leisure or optional excursions outside the package:
- Visit to the Gellert baths. With its Art Nouveau decor, artistic mosaics and sculptures, the Gellert baths are surprisingly beautiful. It's also an opportunity to take a break and enjoy a moment of relaxation. So don't forget your swimsuits, this is a unique opportunity.
- Visit to Budapest's Halles: depart on foot for Budapest's Halles. With its gleaming Zsolnay tile roof, Budapest's Grand Central Market is the largest market hall built in the 19th century. You'll discover an incredible array of products, including the famous paprika garlands. A tasting of sweet local specialties will round off your visit. Return to the ship on foot.
In the evening, optional authentic excursion/experience: a folklore evening in Budapest during which you'll discover typical Gypsy dances and costumes.

In addition to the red-brick Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, which dominates the city, Osijek boasts impressive Baroque architecture. The citadel on the banks of the Drava River, not far from the confluence with the Danube, demonstrates the strategic importance of the area.
- Experience: discover Osijek by bike. Situated on the Drava, a tributary of the Danube, Osijek is ideal for two-wheeled tours. In the pedestrian district, you'll see an exceptional group of 18th-century urban fortifications, with narrow streets lined with Baroque and Art Nouveau palaces. Your tour then takes you to the parks along the Drava River.

It is considered by Serbs to be one of the most beautiful cities in the country. Then on to Sremski Karlovci. This bucolic little town is a veritable open-air museum. The historic center seems to have sprung from the past. The village has been totally preserved from the urbanism that disfigures modern cities, and offers visitors a haven of peace bathed in Hungarian and Romanian influences. Return on board and sail to Belgrade.
In the afternoon, optional excursions:
- Authentic: guided tour of Belgrade. The Serbian capital has forged its identity from the confluence of Ottoman, Austrian and Slavic cultures. Built on a series of hills backing onto the Sava River, Belgrade offers a variety of urban landscapes to discover. You'll see streets of 19th-century mansions, Art Nouveau buildings and Kalemegdan Park.
- Experience: visit Belgrade by bike. The “White City” boasts plenty of space, vast riverbanks and green spaces. At the crossroads of Oriental, Slavic and Austrian influences, the Serbian capital has carved out its own identity, winning over many a traveler.

In an exceptional setting, Veliko Tarnovo displays its white, flower-filled houses in a labyrinthine tangle. Former capital of the Bulgarian tsars, its fortress overlooks the town and remains the jewel of the region. Then on to Arbanassi, a picturesque village much loved by Bulgarians. This former summer residence of the Tsars is renowned for its many frescoed churches.

- In the morning, visit Roussé. Surprising without a... see+ doubt. The town boasts precious buildings and a magnificent architectural heritage. Proud of its “Golden Dozen” treasures, it reveals its masterpieces along its wide avenues. The tour ends with a tasting of local products.
- In the afternoon, visit Bucharest, nicknamed “Little Paris” in the 1930s. Welcoming and full of life, the Romanian capital leaves no one indifferent. Its monumental avenues are punctuated by beautiful gardens, parks and surprising alleyways. Communism may have changed the face of the city, as evidenced by the gigantic Palace of Parliament, but the “Little Paris of the Balkans” has retained the joie de vivre of a mixed-race city with a 19th-century feel.

Once an important Greek trading post, it has preserved a number of interesting vestiges from its heyday. Not least the remarkable 3rd-century Roman mosaic. The streets of the old town are also full of surprises, right up to the seafront and the casino, which raises its rococo façade against the wind. Lunch in a restaurant before heading for Murfatlar. The sunny Dobrogean plateau on the shores of the Black Sea is the country's most promising region. Murfatlar's vineyards have won numerous international awards, particularly for their Chardonnay. Wine tasting in a local cellar. Lively evening. Night sail to Tulcéa.

Its countless lakes and marshes are home to over 300 species of birds and 45 species of freshwater fish. Classified as an International Biosphere Reserve, the delta can be visited by boat. The Danube delta is one of the most beautiful in Europe and the world, thanks to the variety of its landscapes and the richness of its flora and fauna. This sanctuary of nature, made up of canals, lakes, floating islets and forests of reeds, lianas, willows and poplars, is home to millions of migrating birds (over 300 species). You may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of one of these many species.
