Morning sailing to Bougival. In the afternoon, included excursion: the Château de Malmaison. This... see+ charming estate captured the heart of Joséphine de Beauharnais, wife of Napoleon Bonaparte, who purchased it in 1799 and transformed it into a peaceful retreat. Decorated in classical style by the famous architects Percier and Fontaine, the château served as the seat of the French government from 1800 to 1802, where Napoleon frequently held meetings with his ministers. Major political decisions were made within these walls… After passing through the tent-shaped vestibule, you'll be immersed in the everyday life of its most renowned residents—from Joséphine’s moving bedroom where she died in 1814, to the music room where her harp still stands, and the Marengo Room with Napoleon’s weapons. Return on board, overnight stop.

Departure by coach to Auvers-sur-Oise. Visit of the Daubigny House-Studio, listed as a historical monument in 1991 and labelled "Maison des Illustres" in 2014. Built in 1861 by Charles-François Daubigny, it was a meeting place for his landscape artist friends such as Corot, Daumier, and Berthe Morisot, to name a few. On the walls of the studio, you will admire the exceptional imprint left by each of them.
Continue to the Auvers wine press vineyards, a heritage that was long forgotten and successfully revived in the early 2000s. Located along the railway tracks in Auvers-sur-Oise, the vineyards offer a stunning landscape.
Visit of the vineyard and the wine press. Then you will go to Madame Guinguette's, where, in a country setting, a tasting of local products awaits you.
Return on board in Auvers-sur-Oise. Overnight stop. Free evening.

Included excursion: Auvers-sur-Oise and the Absinthe Museum. Journey to Auvers-sur-Oise. Spanning 7... see+ km along the right bank of the Oise River, the village was marked by the stay of Impressionist painters and later Vincent Van Gogh, who came to draw inspiration here in the 19th century. Today, visitors can stroll through the picturesque streets of Auvers-sur-Oise following the painters’ trail, which features panels showing famous paintings. Then, visit the Absinthe Museum, which recreates the atmosphere of Belle Époque cafés where absinthe—then in vogue—was the favorite drink of poets and artists. The original works on display illustrate its importance in 19th-century social and cultural life. A tasting following the traditional absinthe ritual at the Absinthe-Café will conclude the visit. Return to the boat in Auvers-sur-Oise for lunch. Afternoon navigation toward Saint-Leu-d’Esserent.
Attention food lovers! Have you always wanted to learn how to whip the legendary Chantilly cream? A member of the Brotherhood of Whipping Knights will be on board to share this historical and culinary heritage. Their goal: to teach you how to whip real Chantilly cream by hand! After dinner, enjoy free time to stroll through the small town. The more adventurous can head to the abbey church of Saint-Leu-d’Esserent, perched on a rocky promontory overlooking the Oise valley. Overnight stop.

Included excursion: the Château de Chantilly. Drive to Chantilly. The Château de Chantilly is one... see+ of the jewels of French heritage. It is also the work of a man with an exceptional destiny: Henri d'Orléans, Duke of Aumale, son of the last King of the French, Louis-Philippe. This prince, considered the greatest collector of his time, made Chantilly the setting for his countless masterpieces and precious manuscripts. The château has remained as it was when the Duke of Aumale bequeathed it to the Institut de France in 1886—an ideal opportunity to take a journey through time in the heart of a princely residence. You will visit, among other things, the painting galleries, where the presentation has remained unchanged since the 19th century; the grand apartments, which offer a great variety of art objects, furniture and master paintings; and the Book Cabinet, one of France's richest libraries. Return to Pont-Sainte-Maxence for lunch. Afternoon cruising towards Compiègne. Overnight stop. Free evening.

Guided tour... see+ of the historic town of Compiègne. As you wander through its picturesque streets, you will see the magnificent 16th-century Town Hall with its richly sculpted Gothic facade and statues of prominent figures from Compiègne's history, including Louis XII. Its belfry houses one of the oldest communal bells in France, dating back to 1303. Further along, there are charming medieval houses, the oldest of which dates back to the 15th century: La Vieille Cassine. Enjoy tasting local specialties. Continue to the Armistice Memorial Museum. You will discover a wagon identical to the one where the armistices of 1918 and June 22, 1940, were signed, a Marne taxi that participated in the battle of the same name, and 800 stereoscopic views from World War I. The Memorial is dedicated to all soldiers from 1870 to the present, with numerous monuments, including the Augustin Trébuchon Memorial Garden, the last French soldier to die in World War I. On the way back, you will visit Compiègne Castle. The originality and beauty of the largest French Neoclassical castle, the quality of its interior decor and furniture, make it a unique ensemble. It is one of the three most important royal and imperial residences in France. Return to the boat for lunch. Sail towards Pont l’Évêque, which you will reach in the afternoon.

Explore the city and discover the different facets of its double-millennial history and intriguing anecdotes… A light-filled enchantment awaits you inside the Notre-Dame Cathedral, the first manifestation of Gothic architecture (second half of the 12th century) in northern France.
