The wine capital... see+ of Alsace will charm you with its authenticity and typical Alsatian architecture, featuring colorful half-timbered houses dating back to the Middle Ages. You will discover the picturesque Petite Venise district with its romantic canals and cobbled streets, not to mention the majestic Gothic-style Saint-Martin collegiate church and the remarkable bourgeois houses, including the 12th-century Maison des Têtes, built in the German Renaissance style and decorated with 111 masks and a magnificent three-story oriel window. Return to the side of the boat. Afternoon sailing to Basel. Evening dance.

Included excursion: trip aboard the Glacier Express train. The world's most famous train offers a... see+ panoramic journey through the Alps, from Andermatt to Chur. This line, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers a memorable experience in the heart of Switzerland. In an idyllic setting, with mountains rising majestically into the sky and unspoiled nature, you will discover breathtakingly beautiful landscapes that only this unique and unforgettable route can offer. This excursion alone is a picture-postcard view of Switzerland. Lunch on board the train or at a restaurant (depending on availability). Return to Basel (from Andermatt to Chur or vice versa. For information, the coach journey time is dead reckoned at 3.5 hours from Basel to Andermatt and 3.5 hours from Chur to Basel).

Day trip included: Mainau Island, Lake Constance and Rhine Falls. Depart Basel for Mainau Island on... see+ Lake Constance. Mainau Island is a place of perfect harmony. A veritable floral and plant paradise, it has become one of Germany's most famous and popular tourist destinations. Lunch on Mainau Island. Departure for the Rhine Falls. The Rhine Falls are one of Switzerland's most spectacular natural wonders. You'll discover Laufen Castle (outside), where you can experience the Rhine Falls up close, thanks to the platform overlooking them. You'll have a breathtaking view of the roaring waters.

Return to Basel or Breisach. Evening dance.

Discover the wine route and Colmar
Departure by bus to Colmar. Brief tour of the historic center with your guide. From the Unterlinden Museum (under the lime trees) to the Little Venice district, passing by Saint-Martin's Collegiate Church, the Pfister House, and the Koïfhus, you will be... see+ charmed by the "most Alsatian of Alsatian cities." Continue on the Alsace Wine Route. Lunch (drinks not included) en route. Stop in Obernai. Discover the town, which boasts a prestigious collection of Rhenish Renaissance buildings: the belfry, the Town Hall with its Renaissance façade, the corn exchange, and more. Return to the side of the boat. NOTES Times are given as a guide only and may be subject to change, as may the order of visits. Bus tour with stops for free time. Please wear comfortable shoes. Lunch included, excluding drinks. *Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health, please drink responsibly. INCLUDED in the SBS cruise.

Departure from Basel to Lake Constance and Mainau Island. The island is a jewel like no other. It is a place of perfect harmony. A true paradise of flowers and plants, it has become one of Germany's most famous and popular tourist destinations. Lunch on... see+ Mainau Island. Free time to explore the island.Bulb flowers mark the start of the summer season on Mainau Island. From March to May, snowdrops, crocuses, daffodils, squills, and tulips form a magnificent carpet of flowers. From late May until the first frosts, 12,000 rose bushes adorn the island on Lake Constance. In autumn, the dahlias show off their most beautiful colors. Around 12,000 bulbous bow plants, divided into some 250 varieties and species, can be found on the southern slope of the island in late summer and autumn. The palm house, with its hemp palms and exotic date palms, and the butterfly house with its magnificent colors create a South Sea atmosphere all year round.
