Morning: Included Excursion – Visit to Hradcany, the Castle District of Prague

A symbol of the... see+ Czech people's glorious past, the Royal Castle of Prague lies at the heart of the country’s political life, as it is the official residence of the President of the Czech Republic. Perched on a hill overlooking Prague's Old Town and Malá Strana, this monumental complex rises from a crown of gardens and rooftops and stretches out in a long horizontal façade, from which the spires of St. Vitus Cathedral and the cloister of St. George emerge.

You’ll admire magnificent churches (St. Vitus Cathedral, Strahov Monastery), splendid palaces (Cernín Palace, Belvedere), and prominent museums (the Castle Picture Gallery). The visit also includes a stroll through historic streets (Nový Svet, Golden Lane) and vast gardens (the Southern Gardens and the Royal Gardens).

Afternoon: Included Excursion – Visit to the Malá Strana District and the Old Town, including Charles Bridge

Located at the foot of the Hradcany hill, Malá Strana is a charming maze of small streets, palaces, and squares. It's a lively and historically rich neighborhood. The red rooftops of Malá Strana are overlooked by the dome of St. Nicholas Church.

You will then cross the famous Charles Bridge, one of Prague’s most iconic monuments. Spanning 520 meters, the bridge is lined with Baroque statues, including those of Czech Saint John of Nepomuk, a Pietà, Saint Wenceslas (the patron saint of the Czech nation), and a crucifix.

The tour continues into Prague's Old Town, Staré Mesto, a key place in Bohemian history. Nestled in a bend of the Vltava River, the Old Town is a labyrinth of cobbled streets, including the Jewish Quarter. The historical heart of the city, it features noble houses, churches, and palaces. Notable sights include the Baroque masterpiece St. Nicholas Church, the astronomical clock on the town hall, and the twin spires of the Gothic Church of Our Lady before Týn.

Return to the hotel for dinner.

A masterpiece of Baroque architecture, the abbey dominates the splendid Wachau Valley. The ochre color of its grand façade recalls the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. Inside, the abbey is equally impressive, with magnificent Baroque frescoes and a library containing nearly 100,000 volumes, some of which are among the most precious medieval manuscripts.
Return on board and cruise towards Dürnstein, arriving early afternoon. Free time in this small medieval town listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its architectural heritage. The village is full of charming sights, including the elegant Baroque bell tower of Dürnstein Church, medieval and Renaissance façades of the town hall, and the colorful houses lining the main street.
Cruise continues to Vienna.

A true open-air museum, the capital reveals all its splendor by night. Illuminated façades showcase their beauty. The Musikverein takes on a new dimension under the lights, and the opera house reveals its interior decor with clever lighting effects.
At Schwarzenbergplatz, you’ll see the gilded bronze statue of Johann Strauss, as well as many other monuments such as the Hofburg Palace and the Church of the Augustinians. You’ll enjoy discovering this other side of Vienna.

Departure by bus accompanied by the boat's hostess toMelk Abbey. The abbey guides will meet you in the inner courtyard to begin the tour. Overlooking the Danube, the abbey, which has been home to Benedictine monks for 900 years, was originally built as a... see+ fortified castle for the Babenberg family. The abbey was founded in the 11th century and the current Benedictine abbey buildings date from the Baroque period and are the work of architect Jakob Prandtauer. Melk Abbey houses a museum where you will discover various exhibits that have been brought to life through architecture, sound and light, and the use of various media. Computer animations tell the story of how the buildings were constructed. You will also visit the library and the marble hall, true gems of Baroque architecture. Return to the side of the boat by bus. NOTES Wear comfortable shoes: there is a staircase and 500m of paved path to walk from the bus parking lot to the abbey entrance. Depending on the cruise, the visit may take place in the afternoon or the morning. Proper attire is required. Depending on the sailing schedule, passengers will have some free time. Discover Vienna by night on a panoramic bus tour. Vienna, a city with two thousand years of history, is a veritable open-air museum. Vienna embodies Romanticism and exudes a sense of power thanks to its architecture and numerous monuments. You will travel... see+ along the famous Ringstrasse, which marks the boundaries of historic Vienna on the right bank of the Danube. You will pass a multitude of buildings from the former Austro-Hungarian monarchy: the opera house, City Hall, the Hofburg Palace, and numerous official buildings. You will stop at Schwarzenberplatz, where the monument to Johann Strauss is located. Then you will stroll through the Albertina district, where you can admire the Hofburg Palace, the winter residence of the Habsburgs and now the Sissi Museum, and the Augustinian Church, where the wedding of Franz Joseph and Sissi was celebrated. Some locals travel for hours by tram to come to the Központi Vásárcsarnok. On the ground floor, there is an incredible display of food products, from fruit and vegetables to charcuterie and garlands of paprika.
