Paris Les Andelys Honfleur
Morning cruise to Les Andelys, offering magnificent views of La Roche-Guyon. Located below the... see+ slopes of the Vexin plateau, on the right bank of a bend in the Seine, the village is famous for its castle dominated by a medieval keep.
Optional authentic excursion/experience: visit to Martainville Castle. Jacques Le Pelletier, a shipowner from the city of Rouen, had this castle built in the 16th century. Later, his nephew, who inherited his entire fortune, undertook major renovation work and the castle became one of the foremost buildings of the Norman Renaissance. Today, it houses the Museum of Norman Traditions and Arts, whose exceptional collections trace the history of the arts and popular traditions of Upper Normandy. More than 15,000 works are on permanent display. Return to the side of the boat and continue sailing towards Honfleur.

Once a village in the Duchy of... see+ Normandy, a military fortress, the port of departure for great explorers, and the home of Impressionist painters, Honfleur is a charming town with incomparable character that has always fascinated people. Its adorable little port, rich museums, and small cafés invite you to enjoy delicate moments outside of time.
In the afternoon, optional excursions: - Authentic: discover the Alabaster Coast. Drive to the Seine estuary where you will see the famous shroud-supported deck of Normandy, a true technological feat, before reaching the Alabaster Coast. A natural heritage site in the Pays de Caux, the coast offers spectacular scenery, such as Étretat, where the majestic white chalk cliffs plunging into the English Channel form a spectacular natural monument. The town also boasts several remarkable castles, manor houses, and villas, such as the Manoir de la Salamandre and the Clos Lupin, where Maurice Leblanc created the famous gentleman thief Arsène Lupin. - Experience: hike along the cliffs of the Alabaster Coast, the most spectacular erosion phenomenon on the coast. Along the Alabaster Coast, the sailing itinerary offers hikers the charms of the Normandy coastline. Pebble beaches, port towns, green meadows, and chalk cliffs are part of the scenery and will accompany you on your journey. Stop in Étretat for a free exploration of the town.

The Allied landings on June 6, 1944, on the beaches of Normandy were the largest amphibious and airborne operation of all time and marked a decisive turning point in World War II. Point du Hoc, Omaha Beach, Colleville-sur-Mer and its American cemetery... not to mention Arromanches and its circular cinema where you can watch the film: The 100 Days of the Battle of Normandy. Visiting these places steeped in history is a deeply moving experience.

The heritage of the "city of a hundred steeples" is particularly important and its history is as rich as it is fascinating.
