Sailing itineraries

Fakarava
Arrival at Fakarava airfield, depending on your flight schedule from Tahiti or Rangiroa. Welcome by... see+ the crew, then transfer to the dinghy. Installation on board in your private cabin, preparation of diving equipment and administrative formalities. Depart for a short sail in the lagoon, if time permits (before sunset). Anchor close to the shore and take your first dips in the turquoise waters. Back on board, sunset over a welcome cocktail, and presentation by the crew of your stay and diving program. Welcome evening.

Fakarava Tetamanu
Early morning departure for the south of Fakarava, gentle sailing in the lagoon and trolling for... see+ early risers. Possibility of sleeping in for the others! Breakfast at sea. Mid-morning anchorage in front of the village of Tetamanu (6 inhab.) on the dive site itself, in our ecological anchorage.
Dive briefing and departure for the 1st dive, while non-divers can be disembarked ashore or take part in water activities (kayaks, snorkeling, swimming...). Back on board, dive debriefing and lunch, followed by an excursion ashore to visit the ancient village of Tetamanu (former capital of the Tuamotus) and its old church. Back on board, departure for the 2nd dive or water activities for non-divers.

Tetamanu Fakarava
Wake up in the magnificent lagoon of South Fakarava, after a delicious breakfast in an enchanting... see+ setting, then get ready and set off for diving for the divers and a lie-in and water sports activities for the others. After the dive, excursion by dinghy to the “motus aux sables roses”. Beach, swimming, fishing on the reef, in a postcard setting just for you.... Back on board, lunch, then preparation for the 2nd dive or water activities (non-divers). Sunset on the lagoon, perhaps over a tasty cocktail... Dinner and departure for Tahanea, overnight at sea.

Fakarava Tahanea
Early morning, arrival at Tahanea and anchorage in a sheltered bay, followed by breakfast. Briefing... see+ on this new and very special dive spot, then dive departure. For non-divers, water sports, kayaking or disembarking on a magnificent beach, just for you... Swimming, shell collecting...
Back on board for lunch. Excursion to the natural swimming pool, then for divers departure for the 2nd dive. After the dive, you can go trolling in the channel (where there are plenty of fish), then return for a plancha evening.

Tahanea Kauehi
Wake up in the magnificent Tahanea lagoon, early morning dive in search of mantas or water... see+ activities of your choice.
Lunch, swimming in crystal-clear water, then 2nd dive . debriefing, storage of diving equipment and departure for Kauehi, deep-sea fishing and introduction to sailing, sunset at sea. Dinner at sea.

Wake up to a wilderness setting along the coral reef. Breakfast before preparation and departure... see+ for the 1st dive or water activities. Back on board, debriefing, lunch, then free time or the possibility of a shore excursion with the kayaks to discover the reef flats, in search of shells, or to explore the wild motus home to numerous seabirds. Back on board, preparation and boarding for the 2nd dive, or water activities for non-divers. Back on board, aperitif and dinner.

Kauehi Aratika
Early morning departure for Aratika, sunrise at sea, gentle sailing pushed by the trade winds,... see+ breakfast at sea. Possibility of sleeping in, or taking part in sailing maneuvers, or deep-sea fishing. Anchor near Aratika pass, briefing on the new spot and dive departure for divers. Swimming and water sports for non-divers. Back from the dive, debriefing and short navigation in the lagoon. Anchorage in a sheltered bay surrounded by superb beaches. Lunch, briefing on the new dive and dive departure. Non-divers will be spoilt for choice between dream beaches and shallow lagoons with crystal-clear waters... Back on board, cocktail party and dinner.

Aratika Apataki
Wake up in Aratika lagoon, have breakfast and prepare for 1st dive (the Cathedral...) or sleep in,... see+ then dive departure for divers, and back on board, shore excursion (old village). Back on board, lunch and departure for 2nd dive. After the dive, possibility of shore excursion (beach) then sailing in the lagoon. Dinner at anchor, then departure for Apataki during the night.

Apataki Matariva
Arrive in the early morning and anchor in the shelter of a motu. Early morning, then breakfast and... see+ dive briefing on the new spot. Departure for the 1st dive, then back on board for lunch. Preparation for 2nd dive and dive departure for divers. Water activities and swimming for the others. Back on board, sailing to Matariva. Dinner on board. Anchorage in Anse Amyot.

Wake up in front of the small village of Matariva (2 families). Breakfast, dive briefing for divers... see+ and dive departure. Non-divers can visit the fish farms or take part in lobster or varo fishing with local fishermen (with participation). Back on board, lunch, then departure for the 2nd dive or visit to the small village. In the evening, you can enjoy a typical paumotu meal on land, with lobster or varo (with participation).

Matariva Toau
Depart at daybreak for the south of Toau, where you can take part in navigation maneuvers or go... see+ deep-sea fishing. Arriving in Toau, we pass through the tumultuous Otugi Pass! Ecological anchorage in front of a superb coral sand beach, very well sheltered. Briefing on this new diving spot, then departure for the deep blue sea or water sports. After this adrenalin-pumping dive, return to the boat for lunch, then free time for swimming and a kayak excursion. Back on board, we embark for the 2nd dive or a visit to the shore for non-divers. Sunset, with a refreshing drink, plancha evening.

Toau
Sunrise over the magnificent Toau lagoon, breakfast and departure for diving, water sports or beach... see+ for non-divers. Back from the dive, debriefing and opportunity to go ashore for a well-deserved swim on a sandy beach, or to visit the surrounding area, or to taste a coconut via via the wild coconut grove for exotic fruit lovers... Back on board and lunch. Departure for the 2nd dive or water activities. Sunset over the lagoon, dinner.

Toau Fakarava Rotoava
Early morning departure for North Fakarava. Short sail and anchorage (ecological) in the shelter of... see+ a coral reef. Briefing and important instructions on how to dive safely in the immense Garuae pass (the largest in Polynesia, over 1 km wide! ) Then dinghy diving or water sports activities. After the dive, debriefing, lunch and free time, preparation and departure for the 2nd dive. Back on board, short sail and anchorage (ecological and hurricane-proof) in front of the village of Rotoava. Final sunset over cocktails. Farewell evening.

Breakfast, then a visit to the village and a pearl farm. Back on board, we prepare our luggage and... see+ take a final swim, then disembark and transfer to the airport, depending on your flight time to Tahiti. Polynesian farewell.

Further information
Even if the boat is equipped with sails, it will mainly be powered when the conditions are too pitch for the sails to be used.
Please note: Level 1 and Open Water divers will not be able to make certain dives (currents, depth).
Formalities: You must bring your certificates (or diving passports), logbooks and medical certificates (or FFESSM license). Each diver must be equipped with a dive computer.
Minimum water temperatures range from 26°C in winter (September) to 29°C in summer (March), with no thermocline, and visibility is always excellent.
We issue FFESSM licenses on board, subject to presentation of a medical certificate.
