Sailing itineraries

Fakarava
Arrival at Fakarava aerodrome, depending on flight schedule from Tahiti or Rangiroa. Welcome by the... see+ crew, then transfer to the dinghy. Installation on board in your private cabin, preparation of diving equipment and administrative formalities. Depart for a short sail in the lagoon, time permitting (before sunset). Anchor close to the shore and take your first dips in the turquoise waters. Back on board, sunset over a welcome cocktail, and presentation by the crew of your stay and diving program. Welcome evening.

Fakarava Tetamanu
Early morning departure for the south of Fakarava, gentle sailing in the lagoon and trolling for... see+ early risers. Possibility of sleeping in for the others! Breakfast at sea. Mid-morning anchorage in front of the village of Tetamanu (6 inhab.) on the dive site itself, in our ecological anchorage. Dive briefing and departure for the 1st dive, while non-divers can be disembarked ashore or take part in water activities (kayaks, snorkeling, swimming...). Back on board, dive debriefing and lunch, followed by an excursion ashore to visit the ancient village of Tetamanu (former capital of the Tuamotus) and its old church. Back on board, departure for the 2nd dive or water activities for non-divers. Plancha evening.

Wake up in the magnificent lagoon of South Fakarava, after a delicious breakfast in an enchanting... see+ setting, then get ready and set off for diving for the divers and a lie-in and water sports activities for the others. After the dive, excursion by dinghy to the “motus aux sables roses”. Beach, swimming, fishing on the reef, in a postcard setting just for you.... Back on board, lunch, then preparation for the 2nd dive or water activities (non-divers). Sunset on the lagoon, perhaps over a tasty cocktail... Dinner.

Early morning departure for Kauehi, sailing. Deep-sea fishing and an introduction to sailing for... see+ some, a lie-in for others... Breakfast at sea, followed by an eco-friendly anchorage on the Kauehi reef. Briefing on the site and departure for the 1st dive and water activities for non-divers. After the dive, debriefing and lunch. Free time then preparation for the day's 2nd dive or water activities. Back on board, cocktail party in front of the sunset, or troll fishing in Kauehi channel for amateurs. Dinner.

Wake up to a wilderness setting along the coral reef. Breakfast before preparation and departure... see+ for the 1st dive or water activities. Back on board, debriefing, lunch, then free time or the possibility of a shore excursion with the kayaks to discover the reef flat, in search of shells, or to explore the wild motus home to numerous seabirds. Back on board, preparation and boarding for the 2nd dive, or water activities for non-divers. Back on board, aperitif and dinner.

Kauehi Fakarava Rotoava
Early morning departure for North Fakarava. Short sail and anchorage (ecological) in the shelter of... see+ a coral reef. Briefing and important instructions on how to dive safely in the immense Garuae pass (the largest in Polynesia, over 1 km wide! ) Then dinghy diving or water sports activities. After the dive, debriefing, lunch and free time, preparation and departure for the 2nd dive. Back on board, short sail and anchorage (ecological and hurricane-proof) in front of the village of Rotoava. Dinner on board.

Breakfast and short sail to anchor near Fakarava's northern pass. Briefing and safety instructions... see+ for diving in this immense Garuae channel. Dinghy diving or water sports. After the dive, debriefing, lunch and free time, preparation and departure for the 2nd dive. Back on board, short sail and anchorage (ecological and hurricane-proof) in front of the village of Rotoava. Final sunset over cocktails. Farewell evening.

Breakfast, then a visit to the village and a pearl farm. Back on board, we prepare our luggage and... see+ take a final swim, then disembark and transfer to the airport, depending on your flight time to Tahiti. Polynesian farewell.

Further information
Even if the boat is equipped with sails, it will mainly be powered when the conditions are too pitch for the sails to be used.
Please note: Level 1 and Open Water divers will not be able to make certain dives (currents, depth).
Formalities: You must bring your certificates (or diving passports), logbooks and medical certificates (or FFESSM license). Each diver must be equipped with a dive computer.
Minimum water temperatures range from 26°C in winter (September) to 29°C in summer (March), with no thermocline, and visibility is always excellent.
We issue FFESSM licenses on board, subject to presentation of a medical certificate.
