Arrival in Munich, the capital of Bavaria. City tour (depending on time constraints): the town hall... see+ square and its adjacent streets, the cathedral, and the "Residenz", the famous Maximilian street (exterior views). Then transfer by coach to Passau (duration: about 2h30) and boarding the ship. Cabin check-in. Dinner on board.

Or choose one of the optional excursions: Guided tour of Linz (half day), a walking tour of the regional capital of Upper Austria. The city's harmonious architectural ensemble is one of the best examples of its Baroque heritage. Resolutely modern and innovative, it constantly offers a wide variety of cultural events, or visit the pearl of Bohemia. Morning departure for the Czech Republic (transfer time: approx. 2 hours). Optional visit to Cesky Krumlov, one of the most beautiful towns in Bohemia, which has been perfectly restored and whose architecture combines Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles. Lunch in a restaurant and visit to the castle museum, or discovery of Prague. Early morning coach journey to Prague, capital of the Czech Republic (transfer time: approx. 4 hours). Optional walking tour of this thousand-year-old city, starting with the Castle district (outside view) and the Mala Strana district. Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, cross Charles Bridge and discover the old town: the Powder Tower, Wenceslas Square, the Town Hall and its famous astronomical clock. Return on board at around 10 pm. Or visit Salzburg. Departure for Salzburg, "the city of music" (transfer time: approx. 2 hours). Situated in a magnificent mountain setting and overlooked by a medieval fortress, Salzburg offers visitors the charm of its picturesque narrow streets and vast squares lined with Baroque churches and palaces. Walking tour of the city and lunch in a restaurant.

Sailing at 1pm and lunch on board. Sailing through the exceptional landscapes of the Wachau, a steep region before Vienna, where the meandering Danube offers a parade of lush greenery. Optional excursions: Schönbrunn Palace (half day). Visit the castle and stroll through the gardens of the "Viennese Versailles", summer residence of the Habsburgs. It houses splendid state rooms and, together with its gardens, is one of the best-preserved Baroque ensembles in Europe. Or visit Vienna Art Nouveau and the Leopold Museum (half day). In the 1900s, Vienna was marked by Art Nouveau. The tour begins with a visit to various monuments emblematic of this movement: the Post Office Savings Bank, the Museum of Applied Arts, the Medallion House and the Majolica House. Stop at Karlsplatz with its famous underground station designed by Otto Wagner. Walk to the Sécession, a modern exhibition building in the Art Nouveau style. Then visit the Leopold Museum. Located in the MuseumsQuartier, it contains unique treasures of Viennese Art Nouveau, including the world's largest collection of works by Egon Schiele and paintings by Gustam Klimt.

Vienne Bratislava
Arrival in Bratislava, capital of Slovakia. Walking tour of the historic city centre, admirably... see+ restored and inspired by the Baroque period. Stroll along the Place de la Paix (Peace Square) with the Grassalkovich Palace, now the President's residence, the Michel Gate, symbol of the city and last vestige of the medieval fortifications, and the old Town Hall, whose buildings were erected in the 14th and 15th centuries. Stop in front of the Palazzo Primaziale to admire its elegant architecture. Free time or optional excursion.
Optional excursion: visit to Devin Castle (half day)
Situated on a rocky spur in an enchanting setting, Devin Castle offers a breathtaking panorama at the confluence of the Danube and Morava rivers. Ramparts, chapel, turret... these impressive ruins bear witness to the past splendours of the castle, destroyed by Napoleon in 1809. Departure at 2.00 pm for Budapest. Lunch and dinner on board.

Optional excursion: Visit to the jewels of Budapest (half day)
Visit to the neo-Renaissance National Opera House. Built between 1875 and 1884 by Miklós Ybl, it is one of the most prestigious in Europe. Inside, the grand staircase, lamps, sculptures, frescoes and chandeliers create a sumptuous setting. Next, a visit to the Parliament. Majestically situated on the banks of the Danube, this neo-Gothic building is one of the symbols of Budapest. Construction began in 1885 and took 17 years. It houses the jewels of the Crown and today houses the Presidency of the Republic.

Optional excursions: Faces of Slavonia (full day with lunch)
In the north-east of the country, far from the atmosphere of the Adriatic coastline, the region of Slavonia reveals a little-known face of Croatia, rural and wild. The Danube and its tributaries, the Sava and Drava, criss-cross its rich plains with fertile land dotted with forests.
In the morning, departure for the Kopacki rit Nature Park. This natural jewel of Slavonia is one of the largest natural marshes in Europe. Covering an area of 238 hectares, it forms an inland delta made up of marshes, alluvial forests with magnificent trees, canals and lakes. No fewer than 44 different types of fish and 290 species of bird have been recorded here. Explore the park on foot and by small boat.
Then visit Osijek, the capital of Slavonia. Stroll through the Baroque-style town centre and discover the remains of the Tvrda fortress, along the Drava.
Continue on to Karanac, in the heart of Baranja, for a timeless experience. Lunch in this ethno-village where ancestral traditions survive. The day ends in Vukovar. Although the town became infamous for having been besieged during the war in the 1990s, it has now been given a new lease of life and a new look. Visit the Museum of Vucedol Archaeological Culture, a civilisation that developed on the Danube plain between 3,000 and 2,400 BC, and spread over much of Croatia and Central Europe. Disembarkation at Vukovar.

Optional excursions:
Novi Sad and Krusedol Monastery (half day). Visit to the Orthodox monastery of Krusedol. Founded in the 16th century, it is decorated with sumptuous paintings. Continuation to Novi Sad: the city centre is built around the main square, which displays its Austro-Hungarian flavour in the architecture of its buildings. Or visit the Royal Palace of Belgrade and the Tito Museum (half day). Located in the upmarket Dedinje district, the palace of the Karadjordjevic dynasty comprises two majestic buildings: the Royal Palace and the White Palace. Visit the Royal Palace, with its marble interiors, library, salons and reception hall, as well as the Royal Chapel. The visit continues with Tito's memorial, located within the Museum of Yugoslavia. Departure by coach to the old town to attend a traditional Serbian music and dance performance. The evening will be accompanied by a tasting of local specialities. Built in neo-Byzantine style and imposing with its golden domes, it is one of the largest Orthodox cathedrals in the world and the symbol of Sofia. Lunch at the restaurant.
