The ship arrives in Linz, where you’ll have several choices of excursions. Alternatively, join a morning walking tour through Linz’s old city center and by the Mozart House, or go on a guided bike tour along the city’s famed “Culture Mile” and the Danube. You can also visit the charming mountain town of Ceský Krumlov.

Cruise through the Strudengau and Wachau valleys to Weissenkirchen, the gateway to Dürnstein. Once... see+ there, you can choose to join a walking tour of Dürnstein, strolling along its cobblestone streets to the Baroque Stiftskirche, whose famed church tower is considered the most beautiful of its kind in Austria. For the more active adventurer, hike up above the town to visit the majestic ruins of Kuenringer Castle, or "Dürnstein" (dry stone) castle, from which the town gets its name. After some free time in Dürnstein, head to Weissenkirchen, nestled in the Wachau Valley, for a special wine tasting. The wines of this region are known for their pronounced freshness, spiciness, finesse, and complexity. Locally grown Rieslings and Grüner Veltliners are renowned worldwide, and you will have the chance to sample a few.
