This double cabin has two single beds (which can be separated on request) and a porthole or fixed window. Dresden is the capital of Saxony and one of the largest cities in the state. After World War II,... see+ the city on the Elbe River was meticulously rebuilt. The Dresden Frauenkirche is a symbol of this reconstruction, which lasted from the 1990s until 2005. Magnificent 18th-century buildings adorn the city, such as the famous Semper Opera House and the Zwinger with its lavishly landscaped gardens. The Royal Palace is located right in the old town, which is perfect for strolling around.

This historic town on the Elbe is a veritable window onto history. German emperors founded the first colony on Slavic territory here. The city's name is inextricably linked to its traditional porcelain factory, founded in 1710 and bearing the "Blue Swords" mark. Alongside the city of Bautzen, Meissen has the best-preserved urban core in Saxony. Visiting the city is like diving into history and porcelain.

The city of Magdeburg on the Elbe River is the capital of the state of Saxony-Anhalt. Among the... see+ prominent sights is the Gothic Magdeburg Cathedral in the city center. Next to it is the Hundertwasser House with the Green Citadel (Grüne Zitadelle), in whose courtyard you can admire the artist's typical architecture and colorful columns. The Millennium Tower (Jahrtausendturm), built of wood, is the tallest wooden building in the world at 60 meters high; visitors can walk up and climb it. The Elbauenpark, a beautifully landscaped park, is also worth a visit.

Activities

Visit Meissen: a city steeped in history and porcelain
First, you will visit the oldest—and undoubtedly the most famous—porcelain factory in the world. A comprehensive presentation will allow you to discover the richness of this production, from the sumptuous Baroque works of Böttger and Kaendler to the... see+ services decorated with onion, vine leaf, or rose motifs, not to mention modern creations.

Next, a bus will take you up to the castle hill. Meissen is considered the cradle of Saxony, as the Margraves of Meissen later became the Electors of Saxony. However, the real power in the city belonged to the bishop. The imposing monuments that dominate the city—the cathedral, the bishop's palace, and Albrechtsburg Castle—still bear witness to this today.

The castle hill is surrounded by a magnificent ensemble of Gothic and Renaissance buildings. The market square features the late Gothic town hall, majestic bourgeois houses, and the Church of Our Lady (Frauenkirche).

Wittenberg: Luther's Legacy
From the pier, you will travel by modern coach to the historic Old Town of Wittenberg. You will visit the courtyard of Luther House with the monument to Katharina von Bora. During the walk through Wittenberg's pedestrian zone, you will pass by Melanchthon... see+ House, the residence of one of Martin Luther's closest companions, the buildings of the famous Wittenberg University, the market square with the historic town hall, and of course, the church where Luther preached as well as the site of the famous posting of the theses. In Lutherstadt Wittenberg, the cradle of the Reformation, almost every house in the historic old town breathes history. Our guide will entertain you with many anecdotes. You will also have free time, either for leisure or to visit the world-famous Reformation altarpiece in Wittenberg's Town Church.

Magdeburg: discovering the miracle city
From the pier, you will travel to Magdeburg city center in a modern coach. The first photo stop at Rotehorn Cultural Park offers a magnificent view of the old town and the cathedral rock.

As you drive through the city center, you will discover one of... see+ Germany's most beautiful Art Nouveau ensembles around Hasselbach Square. During a second stop at Cathedral Square, you can admire the beautifully restored Baroque ensemble, the cathedral itself, and Hundertwasser's last and largest project in Germany: the "Green Citadel."

Passing by the Monastery of Our Lady, "wedding cake" style buildings, and St. John's Church, the tour continues to the Old Market Square. There you will discover famous personalities associated with Magdeburg, from Otto I to Otto von Guericke, as well as athletes honored on the "Magdeburg Walk of Fame."

The bus will then take you back to the pier.

Potsdam: City tour
Discover Potsdam, one of Germany's most beautiful and historically rich cities, on a varied panoramic tour. Located on the banks of the Havel River and surrounded by numerous lakes, this idyllic city was chosen over 350 years ago by Frederick William of... see+ Brandenburg as his second residence. Over more than two centuries, Potsdam was transformed into a true Baroque gem.

The tour takes you through the most important neighborhoods and sites: from the Alter Markt with the imposing St. Nicholas Church and the neoclassical town hall, to the picturesque Russian Quarter Alexandrowka with its traditional wooden houses, to the Dutch Quarter of Potsdam with its red brick facades reminiscent of Amsterdam.

Another highlight is a visit to Potsdam's New Garden on the side of Lake Heiliger See, where the famous Cecilienhof Palace is located. This palace is known for hosting the Potsdam Conference in 1945, which laid the foundations for the post-war order.

This excursion offers a fascinating insight into the architecture, history, and cultural diversity of a city that was once the political and cultural heart of Prussia.
