At Filovent, we love kayaking because it lets you explore the coastline quietly, without an engine, while getting some exercise. It’s the most eco-friendly way to wind your way through deserted anchorages. That’s why we’ll provide you with sea kayaks... see+ during your cruise.

At Filovent, we love swimming and, above all, exploring the underwater world, so we’ve decided to provide you with a full set of equipment—masks, fins, and snorkels—for the duration of your cruise, so you can fully enjoy the marine life.
Included
Your tour begins with a scenic boat ride across the caldera to the port of Athinios, where local guides and buses will be waiting to take you to the site of Akrotiri, one of the most important prehistoric settlements in the Aegean Sea.
During the last... see+ quarter of the 17th century BC, a series of earthquakes followed by a volcanic eruption forced all the inhabitants to flee the area. Volcanic materials covered the entire island as well as the city itself. These deposits have preserved the buildings and their contents to this day, much like Pompeii.
Magnificent frescoes have been discovered in some of the dwellings, along with numerous vases and everyday objects.
After your guided tour of the site, you will continue your excursion and, after a short drive, arrive in Oia. With your guide, you can take a short walk through the village or enjoy some free time. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit artists’ studios, meet them, and chat with them. You’ll discover the architecture and typical style of Santorini’s houses and churches.
Return to the coach for a short drive to Fira, the island’s charming capital built atop the caldera.
At the end of the tour, you’ll have free time to explore Fira at your own pace and browse the shops before taking the cable car (ticket included) to the small port of Skala, where tender boats will take you back to the ship.

Please note:
- This excursion involves moderate walking on uneven terrain, with some slopes and steps.
- Please wear weather-appropriate clothing, comfortable walking shoes, a cocked hat, and bring water.
- Dead reckoning travel times: 30 minutes between the port of Athinios and Akrotiri; 50 minutes between Akrotiri and Oia; 30 minutes between Oia and Fira. The order of visits may be subject to change.
- The excursion includes transportation, a guide, admission to the Akrotiri site (€20 per person), and the cable car ticket between Fira and the port of Skala.
- There may be a line at the cable car. Please check the tender boat schedules between Skala and the ship in the daily program.

Not included $111 / pers.
Upon your arrival in Bodrum, you will be taken by minibus on a short 15-minute ride to the Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archaeology, located within Bodrum Castle. The Knights of St. John of Rhodes built this castle in honor of St. Peter (1415–1437), using... see+ some of the marble from the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, which was destroyed by an earthquake in the 14th century. The castle features five main towers, reflecting the architectural styles of the nations that built them: English, French, Spanish, Italian, and German. The museum’s collections are on display there.
After visiting the castle, you’ll enjoy a pleasant panoramic tour of the peninsula and discover the Myndos Gate of ancient Halicarnassus (Bodrum Peninsula), dating from 364 BC, as well as the 7-kilometer-long ramparts that surrounded the city from the western part of the harbor to Göktepe. You will then continue to the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, built between 353 and 350 BC for Mausolus, satrap of the Persian Empire, and Artemisia II of Caria, who was both his wife and sister. This monument was considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
The final stop before returning to the pier is the Halicarnassus Theater, situated on a hillside and offering a panoramic view of the harbor and the castle. After this visit, the guides will provide information about the city of Bodrum as well as details on how to return to the ship. You will then have free time to explore at your own pace, have lunch in town, and do some souvenir shopping.

Please note:
- This excursion involves moderate walking on paved and uneven surfaces, with some slopes and steps.
- Please wear weather-appropriate clothing, comfortable shoes, a cocked hat, and bring water.
- No shopping stops are scheduled during the tour. You may shop freely at the end of the excursion.

Not included $81 / pers.
Meet your local guide at the pier and board a coach bound for the medieval Old Town of Rhodes for a guided walking tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Entering through the Panagia Bourgou Gate, you’ll explore the city’s main sights, starting with the... see+ Jewish Quarter. You’ll pass by the synagogue and, as you head toward the center, you’ll reach the Turkish quarter, now the liveliest part of the city. As you wander through its picturesque cobblestone streets, you’ll pass by the Suleiman Mosque, formerly the Church of the Holy Apostles, recognizable by its elegant Italian Renaissance-style portal.
You will then head toward the Palace of the Grand Masters. Built in the 14th century at the northwest corner of the city walls, it resembles a fortress more than a palace. It was converted into a prison by the Turks, damaged in an explosion, and finally restored by the Italians. It is organized around a central courtyard paved with colored marble and houses magnificent Hellenistic and Roman mosaics from the neighboring islands.
After visiting the Palace of the Grand Masters, you will continue along the Street of the Knights, lined with medieval buildings, towers, and ornate facades. In these Gothic buildings from the 15th and 16th centuries, the knights of the Order of St. John lived according to their native languages. The street leads to Hospital Square. At the end of the tour, you will have free time to explore the old town before returning to the bus for the trip back to the port.

Please note:
- This excursion involves a lot of walking and standing on cobblestones and uneven surfaces, with some steps.
- Please wear weather-appropriate clothing, comfortable walking shoes, a cocked hat, and bring water.
- The excursion includes transportation, a guide, and admission to the Palace of the Grand Masters (€20 per person).

Not included $81 / pers.
The picturesque village of Lindos, located on the east coast of Rhodes, is renowned both as an important archaeological site and a popular tourist destination. This excursion begins with a magnificent drive of about 50 km along the island’s east coast,... see+ passing through charming villages, orange and lemon groves, vineyards, and ancient, gnarled olive trees.
Upon arrival in Lindos, you will walk to the top of the Acropolis, where you will discover the Doric temple of Athena Lindia dating from the 4th century BC, a double-winged portico, a Byzantine church, the Knights’ fortifications, and the remains of the governor’s quarters. From the summit, you’ll also enjoy a spectacular view of St. Paul’s Bay, where the apostle is said to have landed in the year 51 to preach Christianity to the people of Rhodes.
At the foot of the Acropolis lie the whitewashed houses and narrow alleys of this picturesque village, whose beauty has inspired artists and writers for generations. Before leaving Lindos, you’ll have time to browse the many shops offering ceramics, crocheted linens, and other souvenirs.
The return trip to the port of Rhodes follows the same scenic route.

Please note:
- This excursion involves a significant amount of walking on paved and uneven surfaces, with steep slopes and numerous steps. The village of Lindos is entirely pedestrian-only. Access to the Acropolis is via a narrow path with approximately 300 steps.
- Please wear weather-appropriate clothing, comfortable walking shoes, a cocked hat, and bring water. The site offers little shade: be sure to protect yourself from the sun.

For over a century and a half, the original administrative headquarters of the Suez Canal Company in Ismailia has stood as a testament to artistic excellence. Considered an architectural masterpiece thanks to its remarkable design, this historic building was constructed by the French between 1862 and 1869, following a decision by the famous diplomat Ferdinand de Lesseps. It combines Arab, Islamic, and European architectural styles. The building consists of a rectangular space organized around a vast central courtyard, serving more than a hundred rooms.
The Suez Canal Authority decided to transform this historic building into a comprehensive museum of the canal to preserve and showcase its history by 2024.
