Sailing itineraries

Reykjavik
Boarding from 16:00 to 17:00 - departure at 22:00. Iceland's capital lies on the shores of a vast... see+ bay in the west of the country. On Oskjuhlið hill, the Perlan Museum offers a panoramic view of the green districts. A little further on, the spire of the evangelical Hallgrímskirkja church is easy to spot: it points the way to the historic center, an invitation to stroll along Skólavördustígur and Laugavegur, two lively streets with charming little stores. On the outskirts of the city, the Reykjanes peninsula, with its unusual Blue Lagoon thermal pools, promises a pleasant moment of relaxation.

Reykjavik Denmark Strait Ammassalik
Located between Greenland and Iceland, the Denmark Strait was first crossed by the Vikings at the... see+ end of the 10th century, during Erik the Red's expeditions. During the Second World War, its waters were the scene of a battle between the Kriegsmarine and the Royal Navy on May 24, 1941. In winter, a dense sea ice pack forms along the Greenland coast and, while the transpolar current carries thousands of icebergs year-round, the Strait is generally ice-free in summer. Its depths are home to the world's largest waterfall, an underwater cataract formed by the temperature difference between the cold waters of the Greenland Sea and the warmer waters of the Irminger Sea. Numerous species of cetaceans thrive in this rich ecosystem.

Day 3 to day 8:

Still almost unknown a hundred years ago, Greenland's east coast remains its... see+ most authentic and majestic region. Explore this region where alpine mountains blend intimately with the sea, while the fjords are adorned with snow-capped peaks and drifting or ice-covered icebergs. Slowly immerse yourself in these frozen landscapes of unreal beauty. The infinite variety of ice textures offers an ever-changing spectacle. You'll follow in the footsteps of the famous Pourquoi Pas, the ship captained by Jean-Baptiste Charcot, who set out in 1934 with his crew to install Paul-Émile Victor in Ammassalik. On this small island of rugged, primal beauty, the explorer was to devote his first ethnographic mission to the Ammassalimiut, a little-known Inuit community. Here, in this deceptively frozen setting, the silence is broken by the yapping of dogs and the runners of sledges. You'll be warmly welcomed into the heart of villages still protected by the fast ice. You'll have time to discover Inuit culture, sharing joyful and authentic moments with the communities, around their ancestral traditions.

Ammassalik Blosseville coast
Aboard your ship, follow in the footsteps of French explorer and navigator Jules Poret de... see+ Blosseville. In 1833, aboard La Lilloise, he set out to discover this isolated and unexplored part of eastern Greenland, giving French names to various sites along the coast. The adventure probably had a sad ending, as the crew was never found. The uninhabited territory that today bears his name lies to the south of Scoresby Sund. Surrounded by ice, icebergs and chunks of pack ice, the Blosseville coast is one of those wild, inaccessible places that few people are lucky enough to discover.
