Stroll along Laugavegur, lined with boutiques and outdoor equipment shops, towards the sublime Hallgrímskirkja Cathedral before visiting the fascinating Reykjavík Art Museum.

Our crossing of the Greenland Sea to reach the world's largest island will be a time for you to... see+ relax and familiarise yourself with life and facilities on board. The expedition team will be giving a number of talks about the adventure ahead, explaining the protocols for visiting wildlife habitats and how we respectfully interact with indigenous Arctic communities. The Science Centre will reveal what to expect in the epic fjords of Scoresby Sund. If you fancy a workout, head to the fitness room for a workout with a view. Or try the sauna, laze in the hot tubs, feast in the onboard restaurants or find one of the ship's cosy corners to read a book with a hot drink. Do you love science? Take part in the exciting participatory science projects and make your own contribution to global research.

As you reflect on your cruise, from the delicate ecology of the fjord systems to the ethereal elegance of the floating ice, you're sure to realise just how much the beauty of East Greenland has meant to you.

Your Greenland expedition cruise ends where it began, back in the relaxed capital of Iceland.... see+ Sadly, it will be time to say goodbye to the crew, the expedition team and the other passengers, some of whom will surely have become new friends.
If you wish to continue your explorations, you can join one of our optional post-programmes before your return. Or simply extend your stay and enjoy Reykjavík and its surrounding geothermal attractions a little longer.
