Morning excursion included:
- Pompeii. You'll be moved by the narrow streets, temples and forums,... see+ villas covered in sumptuous mosaics, because a visit to Pompeii is a return to the roots of our civilization.
Or
- Herculaneum. Like Pompeii, Herculaneum was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Discover the famous houses of ancient Herculaneum. The most famous building is the mosaic atrium house.
Afternoon excursion included: Naples. Between masterpieces and unsuspected treasures, you'll discover the must-sees, such as Old Naples and the Royal Palace. In Naples' oldest district, you'll stroll along Via San Gregorio Armeno, characterized by its many workshops and small stores displaying Italian santons (pastori) throughout the year. You'll visit the cloister of Santa Chiara, home to a beautiful 18th-century crib featuring scenes of daily life and santons dressed in ancient costumes.

Emerging from a cobalt-blue sea off the coast of... see+ Sicily, the Aeolian Islands (Vulcano, Lipari, Salina, Panarea, Stromboli, Filicudi and Alicudi), included on Unesco's World Heritage List, are awe-inspiring. According to Greek mythology, Aeolus took shelter on these islands and gave them his name, in homage to his reputation as the tamer of the Winds.
Afternoon excursion included: Tindari. Discover the sanctuary of the Black Madonna, built on a promontory overlooking the entire Gulf of Patti and its immense “Tonnara d'Oliveri” lagoon. Then free time in Milazzo, a charming town dominated by a medieval citadel.

On arrival, continue to the village of Anacapri for a visit to Villa San Michele, the home of Swedish writer Axel Munthe. This was also the site of Emperor Tiberius' villa. From the San Michele gardens, you can enjoy magnificent views of Capri, the Bay of Naples, the Sorrento peninsula and Mount Vesuvius. In addition to the grandiose scenery, the gardens themselves are of rare beauty. In the afternoon, free time or a visit to the cliff-top Gardens of Augustus, offering a breathtaking view of the turquoise sea. Return to Naples by hydrofoil.
