Morning excursion included:
- Pompeii. A visit to Pompeii is like going back to the roots of our... see+ civilization, as you stroll through the narrow streets, temples, forums and villas covered in sumptuous mosaics.
Or
- Herculaneum. Like Pompeii, Herculaneum was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Discover the famous houses of ancient Herculaneum. The most famous building is the mosaic atrium house.
Afternoon excursion included: Naples. Between masterpieces and unsuspected treasures, you'll discover the must-sees, such as Old Naples and the Royal Palace. In Naples' oldest district, you'll stroll along Via San Gregorio Armeno, characterized by its many workshops and small stores displaying Italian santons (pastori) throughout the year. At Christmas time, the atmosphere becomes magical. You'll visit the Santa Chiara cloister, home to a beautiful 18th-century crib featuring scenes from daily life and santons dressed in old-fashioned costumes.

Emerging from a cobalt-blue sea off the coast of... see+ Sicily, the Aeolian Islands (Vulcano, Lipari, Salina, Panarea, Stromboli, Filicudi and Alicudi), included on Unesco's World Heritage List, are awe-inspiring. According to Greek mythology, Aeolus took shelter on these islands and gave them his name, in homage to his reputation as the tamer of the Winds.
Afternoon excursion included: Tindari. Discover the sanctuary of the Black Madonna, built on a promontory overlooking the entire Gulf of Patti and its immense “Tonnara d'Oliveri” lagoon. Then free time in Milazzo, a charming town dominated by a medieval citadel.

Excursion included: Mount Etna and Taormina day trip. Europe's largest active volcano. You'll climb... see+ to an altitude of around 1950 m to discover the Silvestri crater area. From here, you'll have a superb view of the Gulf of Catania. Then on to Taormina. Perched on a terrace overlooking the sea, Taormina embodies the legendary beauty of Sicily. Visit its spectacular ancient theater.

Cradle of Magna Graecia, land of ancient civilizations and places where centuries-old customs and traditions still survive. Discover Tropéa, the pearl of Calabria. Perched on a rocky promontory, surrounded by cliffs sheer above the sea, this little town is a real gem. Tasting of regional products.

In the afternoon, excursion included: Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. Discover... see+ Sorrento, a charming town surrounded by orange and lemon groves, with a spectacular view of the sea. Limoncello tasting. Continue along the Amalfi Coast, one of the most beautiful tourist routes in the world! You'll admire charming villages that follow one another along the coast, pastel-colored houses and elegant seaside resorts.

Excursion included: Capri and Anacapri (lunch included). Departure by hydrofoil to the splendid... see+ island of Capri. On arrival, continue to the village of Anacapri for a visit to Villa San Michele, the home of Swedish writer Axel Munthe. This was also the site of Emperor Tiberius' villa. From the San Michele gardens, you can enjoy magnificent views of Capri, the Bay of Naples, the Sorrento peninsula and Mount Vesuvius. In addition to the grandiose scenery, the gardens themselves are of rare beauty. In the afternoon, free time or a visit to the cliff-top Gardens of Augustus, offering a breathtaking view of the turquoise sea. Return to Naples by hydrofoil.
