Le Marin
After a few hours’ flight, you’ll land in Martinique, originally known as “Madinina,” the... see+ island of flowers. You’ll be met at the airport and transferred to the new marina in the village of Le Marin. This is the largest marina in the Caribbean.
Once on board, you’ll be introduced to your crew—the skipper and the cook—and then settle into your cabin. Afterward, the captain will provide you with all the details about the cruise over a welcome cocktail and a cocktail reception.
Boarding at 6:00 p.m., followed by a 13-hour sail to Les Saintes, part of the Guadeloupe archipelago.

Breakfast. Enjoy the day in one of the most beautiful bays in the world.
On the agenda: a stroll... see+ through the village, a visit to Fort Napoléon at the summit of Morne Mire, nestled in a botanical garden (which the emperor never visited but which has preserved superb 17th-century fortifications), overlooking the bay and offering wonderful views, the beaches of Anse Rodrigue or Pompierre, the Pain de Sucre, not to mention the village with its traditional church and colorful town hall.

Roseau Saint Pierre
Breakfast on board. Early morning departure for Saint-Pierre, crossing the Dominica Channel.... see+ Formerly known as “Little Paris” before the volcanic eruption, it is the former capital of Martinique.

Optional afternoon activity: tour of Saint-Pierre, designated a City of Art and History and a UNESCO World Heritage Site: the ruins caused by the eruption of Mount Pelée, which destroyed the city in 1902; the Domaine de l’Émeraude, a museum complex; a walk through the woods for a brief introduction to Martinique’s diverse ecosystems; and a stop at a distillery offering one of the island’s finest rums.

Breakfast and time for a swim, then departure at 7:30 a.m. for Le Marin to catch the bus to Pointe... see+ du Bout in Les Trois-Îlets.
Free morning and lunch to allow you to sample Creole specialties at a small “lolo” (a small local restaurant of your choice, at your own expense), go shopping, and enjoy one last day at the beach in Martinique.
Transfer to the airport and flight to your home city; dinner will be served on board the plane.
