Arrive in Amsterdam by train or scheduled flight, then transfer to the port to board your cruise... see+ ship. In the early evening, enjoy a welcome cocktail followed by a convivial dinner on board. The evening continues with a unique concert by a Sea Shanty group, performing traditional Dutch folk songs. An authentic musical experience before the start of the cruise on the canal linking Amsterdam to the Rhine, heading for Nijmegen.

Located in the heart of the Hoge Veluwe National Park, this museum houses a collection of modern art including many paintings and drawings by Vincent van Gogh and a superb sculpture garden. Lunch on board. In the afternoon, visit Veere, once a flourishing port, its quays lined with sailing boats are a reminder of its past as a bustling trading post. Here you can savour the salty air over fresh oysters, smoked herring or mussels accompanied by a glass of fine white wine. Veere embodies the elegance of a port where history and delicacies meet. In the evening, sail to Ghent via the Grand-Terneuzen canal. Dinner and overnight on board.

Situated in the heart of Flanders, Ghent is one of Belgium's little-known nuggets of typically... see+ Flemish architecture. Visit the city, from the quays of the Lys lined with houses with traditional facades to the Unesco-listed Gothic belfry, via the medieval castle of the Counts. Visit to St Bavo's Cathedral, a 13th-century Gothic church (then called St John's Church), one of whose chapels houses a masterpiece by the internationally renowned Flemish Primitive painters: Van Eyck's Mystic Lamb, a polyptych on wood dating from 1432. After lunch on board, departure by coach for Bruges, the ‘Venice of the North’, whose canals criss-cross this flamboyant medieval city listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
