Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005 as part of the West Norwegian Fjords, the Geirangerfjord is located in southwestern Norway, northeast of Bergen. You will marvel at its exceptional natural beauty, with its narrow and steep crystalline walls rising up to 1,400 meters before plunging 500 meters below sea level. In the heart of Norway's natural landscapes, southeast of Bergen, you'll be cruising the peaceful... see+ waters of Hardangerfjord, Norway's second-longest fjord. At the generous mouth of this majestic fjord, gently sloping valleys offer lush green meadows and fruit trees galore. It's rightly nicknamed “the orchard of Norway”. As you sail further inland, the fjord narrows and the rolling hills give way to dizzying walls and high mountain peaks. Sublimated by the reflections of light on the sometimes limpid, sometimes deep waters, the landscapes become wilder, revealing a diamond in the rough of singular beauty.
Eidfjord is nestled in one of the last offshoots of the magnificent Hardanger fjord, “Norway's orchard”, renowned for its fruit production since medieval times. All the forces of nature seem to come together in this ancient glacial valley. Imposing, majestic mountains border Hardangervidda National Park, Europe's largest high-altitude plateau. The serene waters of the Eidfjord fjord and lake are matched by the thundering Voring Falls, one of Europe's highest waterfalls and Norway's main source of hydroelectric power.

You'll discover this conviviality as you wander through the narrow cobbled streets of the old town, which boasts some 170 period wooden houses, as well as in the lively modern town center. As a stronghold of the Viking era, you'll have the chance to discover a traditional reconstructed village, as well as the famous Sword-in-Stone, three ten-meter-high granite swords symbolizing the last victory of Norway's King Harald I in 872.
You're sailing through one of Norway's most breathtaking fjords, a marvellous setting dominated by wilderness, with towering granite cliffs, crystal-clear waters and lush vegetation. Near Stavanger, Lysefjorden unfurls its calm waters over some forty kilometers, overlooked by impressive rocks. Admire the world-famous site of Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock), a majestic pulpit-shaped cliff culminating over 600 metres above the water. A little further on, Flørli, with its 4,444 steps, is the world's longest wooden staircase, while Kjerag, with its mythical rock wedged between two walls, offers an unusual and unforgettable spectacle.
