The North Cape is a rock rising 307 m above sea level. The most northerly point in Europe, it is symbolised by a metal sphere representing the globe. Free time to visit the site and the training centre built partly into the cliff. If the weather is fine, you can take in the spectacular view of the sea and coastal scenery.

GJESVAERSTAPPAN NATURAL RESERVE BY BOAT - Half day
Departure by coach for Gjesvaer and boarding of a local boat for a trip of around 1h30. Discover the Gjesvaerstappan nature reserve and its cliffs, a veritable ornithological paradise in Norway. This archipelago is home to the largest puffin colony in the Finn-mark region and an impressive variety of bird species: guillemots, gannets, cormorants, great skuas, penguins...

DISCOVER THE ISLAND OF MAGEROYA
An approximately 2? hour drive from Honningsvag along the Skipsfjord through the island's magnificent scenery to the village of Skarsvag. Visit the picturesque ‘Winter and Christmas House’, decorated in traditional Norwegian style throughout the year. Weather permitting, stop off at the viewpoint en route to catch a glimpse of the tip of the North Cape. Continue your discovery of the island with a visit to the fishing hamlet of Kamoyvaer. Visit Eva Schmutterer's charming art gallery, which exhibits many works inspired by nature and the seasonal colours of Mageroya.

NUSFJORD, QUEEN AND Å (full day with lunch)
Vestvagoy is the second largest island in Lofoten. You will pass through the village of Leknes, past the Flakstad church (dating from 1780) with its bulbous domes. Discover the fishing village of Nusfjord, preserved in its original state. Continue on to the village of Reine, magnificently surrounded by mountains. After lunch, discovery of Å, which for a very long time was a traditional fishing village specialising in dried fish. Today, most of the buildings are museums. You can admire the old bakery, the fishermen's huts and the house where cod liver oil was produced, which you can taste when you visit the Fishing Museum!

THE ISLAND OF VESTVAGOY AND THE VIKING MUSEUM
Tour the island of Vestvagoy to discover its striking contrast between rich farmland and a beautiful white sandy beach, a rugged landscape of rocks and mountains... Continuing on to Borg for a visit to the Viking Museum. It was here that important remains from the Viking period were discovered, including the largest house ever found (83 m long and 9 m high). A replica has been built right next to the excavations, to represent the settlement around the year 900. On the way back, stop off at Unstad to enjoy the magnificent panorama of the Atlantic Ocean.

THE FJORDS ROAD (full day with lunch)
Departing from Geiranger, drive to Mount Dalsnibba, 1,500 m above sea level, across a plateau dotted with farms, waterfalls and lakes, for a breathtaking view of the Geiranger Fjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The walk continues to the village of Stryn, whose river is renowned for its salmon fishing. After lunch, discover the splendid scenery and numerous waterfalls. This winding road leads to Hornindal lake, the deepest in Northern Europe, a real mirror in a green setting. Arrive in Hellesylt and take the ferry back to Geiranger.

OR THE EAGLE ROUTE AND THE VALLEY OF HERDAL
Head off into the wilderness, where the stunning scenery of rugged mountains is complemented by waterfalls, deep fjords and fertile valleys. The Route des Aigles, with its 11 hairpin bends, is breathtaking and vertiginous. Stop at the Eagle Bend to enjoy the magnificent panorama of Geirangerfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue through exceptional landscapes of snow-capped mountains and lush green valleys to the charming village of Eidsdal on the Storfjord. Finally, a walk to one of the famous summer farms and a tasting of farm produce.

OR CLIMB MOUNT DALSNIBBA
Take the Nibbevegen road to reach the summit of Mount Dalsnibba, at an altitude of 1,495 metres. On the way, discover the magnificent views over the dark waters of the fjord dominated by the cliffs. On reaching Lake Djupvatnet at an altitude of 1,000 m, the scenery changes to a world of raw rock, ice and snow. On the way back, stop off at the Djupvasshytta chalet on the shores of Lake Djupvatnet for a delicious pastry.

The ‘Hill of the Trolls’ or Troldhaugen welcomes you for a visit to the house-museum of Grieg, the famous composer. The residence is home to many of his memorabilia. A short concert will round off the visit. Stroll through the Hanseatic quarter of Bryggen, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

OR BERGEN AND MOUNT FLOYEN
Walk through the Hanseatic quarter of Bryggen, known for its unique architecture. Its houses have now been transformed into souvenir shops, restaurants and museums. The tour continues with a visit to Mount Floyen (320 m above sea level), accessible by funicular and offering superb views.

OR TROLDHAUGEN AND FANTOFT CHURCH
Departure for Troldhaugen and Grieg's house-museum along the old Hanseatic quarter of Bryggen. Grieg lived here for 22 years and composed many masterpieces in this idyllic setting. Next, a visit to the standing wooden church of Fantoft. Originally built in Fortun in 1150, it was moved at the end of the 19th century. After a fire in 1992, it was rebuilt exactly as it was before.
