Tromso
Welcome to Tromsø, where your voyage begins! Before settling into your cabin on board the ship,... see+ take the time to explore Tromsø at your leisure. This urban area 350 km north of the Arctic Circle is buzzing with life! You'll find trendy restaurants and cafés, craft and local product shops, and even haute couture. You can visit the Polar Museum, which traces the city's heritage of Arctic hunting and trade. Visit the Polaria Centre, an aquarium housing various Arctic marine species, including seals. On the opposite bank from Polaria, you'll discover the Arctic Cathedral, which stands out in the cityscape for its striking design and impressive stained-glass window. In the evening, you will begin your journey, leaving Tromsø behind to sail around the northernmost point of continental Europe.

Tromso Honningsvag
If you arrive early in the morning, you'll have a full day in Honningsvåg. This northern region... see+ has long winters and heavy snowfalls, so get ready for some fantastic winter scenery and activities. Feel the snow crunch beneath your snowshoes as you trek across the plains with the Coastal Experience Team of guides. On optional excursions, you can try your hand at ice fishing, a much-loved winter tradition in the far north. Try the local speciality, king crab, caught in the waters around Honningsvåg and served all year round. The highlight of any trip to Honningsvåg is the discovery of the North Cape, overlooking the Barents Sea, available as an optional excursion. This is one of the most northerly points in continental Europe, and as we visit in winter, you can even choose to get there by snowmobile. After reaching the most northerly point of our journey, we'll turn around and start heading south again in the evening.

Honningsvag Alta
At 70° North, this town lies well above the Arctic Circle. The region is known for offering good... see+ visibility of the Aurora Borealis, so get your camera ready! On an optional excursion, you can find out more about daily life in Alta, see prehistoric rock art and visit the Cathedral of the Northern Lights, which houses an exhibition where you can learn how Alta became the epicentre of groundbreaking research into the Northern Lights between the 19th and 20th centuries. The abundance of snow in winter means that you can enjoy some truly authentic Arctic excursions, including dog-sledding. You can also try it out on wheels when there's no snow on the ground! Alta's snow and climate also provide ideal conditions for building and maintaining the Igloo Hotel. Located on the banks of the River Alta, it is the most northerly ice hotel in the world. You can also join the team of guides for a hike up Mount Komsa. The views are impressive.

Alta Narvik
Narvik was originally conceived as a year-round, ice-free port for the nearby iron mines. Today,... see+ the town is known for its World War II heritage and as a gateway to active pursuits such as skiing, dog-sledding and hiking. On optional excursions, you can delve into Narvik's intriguing past at the Narvik War Museum, where the town's Second World War history comes to life through captivating displays and stories. For a journey to the heart of the region, hop aboard the Arctic Train and travel along the iconic Ofoten Railway, where you can enjoy panoramic views of majestic mountains. For a panoramic view of Narvik, take the cable car to the top of Narvikfjellet.

Narvik Bronnoysund
After Narvik, we head south along Norway's enchanting coastline. You'll be amazed by windswept... see+ islands, sheltered bays and some of the most beautiful fjords in the world. The coast is also home to a wide variety of wildlife, including majestic sea eagles. When we started sailing north of the Trøndelag region in 1893, the coastline was still largely unknown. But over the years, we have become experts in these waters. Today, we are one of the few people with the maritime knowledge and skills to show you the many hidden reefs, islets and fjords that characterise this part of the coast.

Bronnoysund Andalsnes
After docking in the city centre in the morning, you'll have the chance to explore Åndalsnes, a... see+ picturesque coastal town situated along Isfjord at the end of Romsdalsfjord. Åndalsnes is surrounded by magnificent mountains that tower above the town. It is thanks to these peaks that the town has become Norway's destination par excellence for hikers, mountaineers, skiers and many others. The Troll Wall, a 1,000-metre vertical cliff along the Romsdal valley, also attracts adrenaline junkies from all over the world. Take in the sights as you stroll through the town and enjoy a comfortable ride on the Romsdal gondola. If you're visiting in spring or autumn, take the train along the Golden Route, described by Lonely Planet as "Europe's most scenic train journey". Whatever you choose to do, this will be your chance to enjoy the best views of Isfjord, Romsdalsfjord and the surrounding peaks.

Andalsnes Bergen
Surrounded by seven mountains and the sea, Bergen, the former capital, is one of Norway's most... see+ picturesque and historic cities, as well as the country's second largest. Take a stroll through the historic Bryggen district, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and discover its colourful wooden quays dating back to the 14th century. Bergen's famous fish market is also well worth a visit. It's a real feast for the senses, where the spectacle of fresh, abundant seafood that can be cooked for you on the spot mingles with the sounds and smells. One of Bergen's best-known attractions is the Fløibanen funicular, which takes you to the very top of Mount Fløyen. The summit offers a magnificent view of the city, the nearby fjord and other surrounding mountains.

We spend the last afternoon of your trip in Kristiansand. Norway's fifth largest city,... see+ Kristiansand's ambition is to become Europe's most environmentally responsible port. Learn all about this admirable quest on an optional excursion that includes a visit to Odderøya Island. You can also delve into Kristiansand's 20th-century military past on an optional excursion to Battery Vara. Originally built as a German fort during the Second World War, it houses the second largest cannon ever assembled on land. Back on the ship, we'll end our trip in style with a farewell dinner. Take this opportunity to exchange photos and experiences with your fellow passengers one last time.
