Tromso Kaldfjord Ersfjord Lyngen
A day dedicated to observing cetaceans and seabirds in two iconic fjords in the Tromsø region. The... see+ waters of Kaldfjord and Ersfjord, rich in fish stocks, regularly attract orcas, dolphins, and painter whales. When winter comes, these giants of the sea venture close-hauled to the coast, offering unforgettable scenes in the heart of a magnificent setting. In the distance lies the impressive Lyngen Alps, whose snow-capped peaks rise to 1,833 meters. Close-hauled for nearly 90 kilometers, these steep mountains, carved by glacial valleys and dotted with small glaciers, form one of the most spectacular panoramas in northern Norway. During the day, disembark in authentic fishing villages, where rows of cod drying racks, red or yellow rorbuer (old fishermen's cabins), and small traditional ports bear witness to an authentic way of life linked to the sea and the great seasonal fisheries.
Included activities: Visit to a fishing village, see+

Lyngen Alta
Head for Alta Fjord, an iconic location in the Far North, renowned for both its history and its... see+ wild beauty. During World War II, this fjord played a major strategic role, but its importance dates back much further: it was here, in the early 1800s, that the first scientific observatory dedicated to the Northern Lights was built, placing Alta at the heart of research into this fascinating phenomenon. On the shores of the fjord, there are also much older traces of human activity: rock carvings dating back 7,000 years, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which are a valuable testimony to the region's first inhabitants and their close connection with nature. The voyage continues between the islands and islets of the archipelago, in a landscape typical of Arctic Lapland: mountains topped with small ice caps, changing light, and polar silence. These waters are regularly frequented by orcas, dolphins, and whales in search of schools of fish from the Barents Sea. With a little luck, their majestic silhouettes will appear against this grandiose backdrop at the end of the world.
Included activities: Whale watching, see+

Alta Hammerfest
Stopover in Hammerfest, one of the northernmost cities in the world, nestled in the heart of Sami... see+ country. Its coat of arms, a polar bear, recalls its past as a whaling capital and major Arctic exploration port. Today, Hammerfest is looking to the future: it is the point of departure for expeditions to the oil and gas fields of the Far North. The tour begins at the fishing museum, converted into the Polar Bear Club, an unusual and iconic local institution that traces the history of the city and the spirit of adventure unique to the peoples of the North. Then, climb up to the plateau overlooking Hammerfest, where you can enjoy a vast panorama of the colorful city, the mountains, and the fjord. There, in this Arctic landscape buffeted by the wind, it is not uncommon to see reindeer roaming free, living emblems of Sami culture.

Hammerfest North Cape
Two days devoted to discovering the legendary North Cape region, where Europe ends and the horizon... see+ seems to merge into infinity. We sail along the spectacular "Northern Rock," a steep cliff that defies the Arctic Ocean. In Gjesvaer Bay, a designated nature reserve, the voyage turns into a true polar safari. We scan the waters and skies in search of large cetaceans and colonies of migratory birds: cormorants, eiders, puffins, gannets, guillemots, gulls, not to mention the majestic sea eagles that reign over these windswept cliffs. A bus excursion takes us to the iconic North Cape plateau, nicknamed the "Roof of Europe," where the local museum traces the history, traditions, and legends associated with this extreme location. In the vast expanses of tundra, it is not uncommon to see reindeer, peaceful silhouettes crossing this Arctic desert. Further south, in the heart of Lapland's typical landscapes, lies the wild island of Seiland, famous for its coastal glaciers. Between deep fjords and strings of islets, we continue our observations: humpback whales, dolphins, and seabirds enjoy the rich waters here. These exceptional voyages also offer us a last glimpse of the Lyngen Alps, whose sharp peaks, sometimes still dusted with snow, are reflected in the silent fjords. A grand conclusion to our exploration of the Far North.
Included activities: Excursion to the North Cape, see+
