Si vous avez le... see+ temps à votre arrivée à Lima, nous vous recommandons de déambuler dans les rues afin de vous familiariser avec la ville.
Vous pouvez également vous rendre sur la promenade du littoral, dans le quartier huppé de Miraflores. Vous y trouverez de nombreux cafés et restaurants, ainsi que des boutiques s’il vous reste quelques achats à faire avant d’embarquer pour votre aventure. Lima a le titre de capitale gastronomique d’Amérique Latine, alors ne manquez pas de goûter aux spécialités locales telles que le ceviche, une préparation de poisson cru mariné dans du jus de citron vert avec de l’oignon et du piment.

After breakfast, you will take part in a city tour of Lima, with lunch included, which will enable... see+ you to discover, among other things, the city's historic centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, brimming with elegant Spanish colonial architecture. You will also visit the fascinating Larco Museum, which houses the best private collection of pre-Columbian art in the country.
After this half-day excursion, you'll have time to explore more of this diverse city. Watch the passers-by in one of the city's main squares, or seek out a restaurant serving regional specialities, before returning to your hotel for the night.

Lima Cuzco
The next morning, you'll fly to Cuzco, the ancient seat of the Inca Empire. A local guide will take... see+ you to check into your hotel, before inviting you on a guided tour of this enigmatic city.
You will discover impressive Inca structures that stand side by side with ornate buildings from the Spanish colonial era in striking contrast. Visit the 15th-century place of worship of Sacsayhuamán or admire the architecture of the Spanish church of Santo Domingo, a convent built on the ruins of Koricancha, the Inca temple of the Sun. After exploring the highlights of this cultural and architectural gem, we return to the hotel for dinner.

Cuzco Inca Valley Ollantaytambo Machu Picchu Cuzco
An early-morning transfer will take you to Ollantaytambo, in the Sacred Valley, where you will take... see+ the train along the narrow railway line to Machu Picchu, through splendid high-altitude landscapes.
It takes around two hours to reach the small town of Aguas Calientes, from where a short bus journey will take you to Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas. Enjoy a guided tour of this once-hidden settlement. Marvel at the stone walls, terraces and ramps carved into the mountain. You'll love the peaceful atmosphere of Machu Picchu, as you gaze at the rainforest below this city that seems to float in the clouds.
After lunch, we'll head back to Cuzco, where you'll spend your last night in a hotel.

Cuzco Quito
The day begins with breakfast at your hotel. We will go to Cuzco airport to catch the morning... see+ flight to Ecuador, via Lima. You will arrive in Quito in the afternoon.
Situated at an altitude of 2,850 metres, Quito is the second highest capital city in the world. Its highlight is the Old City, founded on an ancient Inca settlement. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the city boasts a predominantly Spanish colonial architecture, with colourful squares, magnificent churches and majestic monuments.
If you have time in the evening, visit Calle La Ronda, an old pedestrian street where poets and artists once lived. Lined with shops and cafés, you can also buy handicrafts.

Quito
Today, you'll take part in a guided tour of Quito's remarkable Old Town, one of the most important... see+ districts of the colonial era, and one of the best preserved in South America. Wander the cobbled streets admiring the architecture and savouring delicious chocolates made with the finest Ecuadorian cocoa.
You will then travel to the emblematic ‘City at the Centre of the World’, less than 26 km north of Quito. After lunch, you'll visit the famous monument marking the imaginary line that is the equator. Get ready to immortalise the moment when you have one foot in each hemisphere.

Quito Baltra Dragon Hill
As your South American adventure holiday draws to a close, it's time to start the next leg of your... see+ journey. After breakfast and a quick flight, you'll arrive on Baltra Island, in the spectacular Galapagos archipelago. A transfer takes you directly to the port where your comfortable expedition ship awaits.
In the afternoon, we begin our exploration of the Galapagos Islands by walking along the northern coastline of Santa Cruz towards the fascinating scenery of Cerro Dragón, or Dragon Hill, where we disembark. The first part of our walk will take us past a brackish lagoon frequented by waders and Caribbean flamingos. As we head inland, the trail offers magnificent views of the bay and the western islands of the archipelago, as well as the chance to spot your first land iguanas.

Dragon Hill Punta Vicente Roca Fernandina
Your day begins in Punta Vicente Roca, at the north-western tip of Isabela Island. After breakfast,... see+ we'll explore the coast aboard a panga. Our naturalist guides will teach us more about the spectacular geology of the region.
This region is a nesting site for several species of birds, including the winged cormorant, the Galapagos penguin and the gannet. Keep your eyes peeled! Weather permitting, you can snorkel along the cliffs and you may be lucky enough to spot green turtles, sunfish and fur seals.
In the afternoon, we'll explore Fernandina, an island with a unique ecology and a high population of marine iguanas. Scan the coastline for sea lions, sally-foot crabs, falcons and penguins.

Fernandina Santa Cruz
Today you will explore Santa Cruz Island. In the morning, we'll disembark at Puerto Ayora to visit... see+ the Charles Darwin Research Station.
At this giant tortoise breeding centre, you can admire tortoises that have just hatched, as well as Darwin's famous finches, which inspired the theory of natural selection. You will also discover an impressive forest home to prickly pear cactus and numerous land birds.
Enjoy a cool lunch in the lush highlands, amongst giant tortoises nibbling grass and swimming in pools.
You'll have time for another activity, including a mountain bike tour or a visit to a sugar plantation.

Santa Cruz Floreana Post Office Bay Champion Islet Cormorant point
After breakfast, set off by panga through the canals of Floreana's northern coastline, before... see+ admiring incredible views of the island from the Baroness' Belvedere. We'll later disembark at Post Office Bay to discover the historic barrel that served as the archipelago's post office for over two centuries.
After lunch, you'll explore the wonderful world around Champion Islet aboard a panga or our glass-bottomed boat. Here you'll have the chance to snorkel in one of the best spots in the archipelago.
We then head to Cormorant Point. Starting from an olivine crystal beach, we'll walk to a brackish water lagoon where Caribbean flamingos, pintails and other animals can often be seen.

Cormorant point Baltra Las Bachas
Relax on board as we drop anchor off Baltra Island. After four days exploring the unique nature and... see+ environments of the Galapagos, it's time to take a break and re-energise for the rest of the journey. Use the many facilities available on board, browse the books in the library or work out in the gym - it's up to you.
In the afternoon, we'll disembark at Las Bachas beach, on the northern coast of Santa Cruz Island. This superb white beach bordered by a turquoise sea is the ideal place to observe the Galapagos' emblematic fauna, including flamingos and sea turtles. Enjoy a swim or snorkel before returning to the ship, where we'll prepare you for the next day's expedition.

Las Bachas Santiago Island Puerto Egas
Today, you'll set off to discover the pristine beaches and picturesque landscapes of Santiago... see+ Island. Marvel at the impressive cliffs of Buccaneer Cove on the north-west coast, home to an abundant population of seabirds and sea lions. Explore this landscape through a number of water-based activities and marvel at the fantastic rock formations, including ‘Elephant Rock’ and ‘The Monk’.
In the afternoon, we'll head to Puerto Egas, one of the island's best visitor sites. You'll have the chance to see a colony of Galapagos fur seals and exotic birds on an excursion. Or you can simply swim or snorkel along the rocky shore, usually in the company of sea turtles.

Puerto Egas Rabida Island Bartolome island
Your day begins on the small island of Rábida, off the south coast of Santiago. Take an... see+ exhilarating panga ride along the coast or discover the island's enchanting red beach. Be surprised by the sounds and spectacle of a colony of sea lions, spot marine iguanas, mockingbirds, yellow warblers and several species of Darwin's finches.
In the afternoon, we'll sail to the golden sands of Bartolomé Island, dominated by the imposing Pinnacle Rock. Enjoy this beach for swimming, snorkelling or discovering marine life from our glass-bottomed boat, and spot Galapagos penguins on the shore. Climb to the top of the island for breathtaking views.

Bartolome island Genovesa Island Darwin Bay
Today you'll be exploring Genovesa Island. We start our morning with a steep but short climb, just... see+ thirty metres or so, up the Prince Philip steps (El Barranco) to a flat, rocky plateau. Once you reach the top, you can wander leisurely and observe large colonies of Grant's boobies, red-footed boobies, Pacific frigatebirds and storm-petrels. Then, or instead of the climb, hop in a kayak for a water adventure.
In the afternoon, we'll disembark and go for a swim on the magnificent beach bordering Darwin Bay. After a refreshing swim, take a stroll to see the island's hundreds of birds, or continue to enjoy the beach for swimming, snorkelling and kayaking.

Darwin Bay Santa Cruz Baltra
Our final morning begins on the north coast of Santa Cruz Island. You'll disembark at a port and... see+ take the bus to the highest region of the island to enjoy the final highlight of your expedition cruise: giant tortoises in the wild.
Exposed to the wind, the island's slopes are preserved as a reserve home to two species of giant tortoise. These lush highlands are also covered in dense forests of Galapagos daisies, orchids and bromeliads.
After this visit, you will be transferred directly to Baltra airport for your flight to Guayaquil.
