In the evening, optional... see+ authentic excursion/experience: Porto "by night". During a panoramic coach tour, you'll discover one of Europe's oldest cities, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Maritime epics opened it up to the world and gradually transformed it. Today, the city reveals the splendor of its past, and you'll see the Sao Bento train station, famous for its azulejos.

Morning sailing to Régua. You'll sail through the Douro Valley. Bordered by vineyards for almost... see+ 200 km, the golden river reveals itself to travelers, with its wild, unspoiled nature. To tame the river, dams and locks calm its course. You'll pass through the gigantic Carrapatello lock, the highest in Europe at 35m.
Arrival in Régua in the afternoon.
Optional authentic excursion/experience: Lamego. A panoramic coach tour of this small town with its pretty 16th- and 18th-century bourgeois houses, before reaching the Baroque sanctuary of Notre-Dame-des-Remèdes, 600m above the town. The most courageous can climb the 700 steps of the double-flight staircase, whose 9 landings are adorned with azulejos.

Regua Porto Antigo
In the morning, optional authentic excursion/experience: Douro Museum and Quinta do Tedo. Housed in... see+ a building emblematic of the region, this museum traces the history of the Douro wine-growing region, a World Heritage Site, and provides an insight into the cultivation and exploitation of wine in the valley. The tour continues with a discovery of olive oil. Olive trees, symbols of the Mediterranean and southern cultures, are omnipresent on the banks of the Douro, alternating with vineyards planted in staircases. Visit a quinta that produces both the famous Porto wine and its olive grove to produce oil, a complementarity of production that reflects navigation in the valley of the Golden River. Discover production methods and taste different varieties of Port wine and olive oil.
Afternoon sailing to Porto Antigo. Overnight stopover.

Morning sailing to Porto. Enjoy this last glimpse of the magnificent Douro Valley and let yourself... see+ be transported to these man-made lands. Optional excursions: Authentic Porto. Departure by coach to Porto city center. Visit the Church of St. Francis (interior), a pitch from the banks of the Douro, one of Porto's most symbolic religious buildings. Drive to the Stock Exchange Palace (interior). Visit this magnificent 19th-century mansion located in the heart of the city's historic center, a marvel of neoclassical architecture steeped in history. Then, you will visit an azulejo workshop. The magnificent azulejo tiles that you will see in Porto and throughout Portugal are the result of an art form that has a long history in the country and began during the Arab occupation of the Iberian Peninsula. Taking their name from the Arabic word "Zellige" - polished stone, the tiles and mosaics are painted and decorated with botanical, animal and historical motifs in shades of blue and white. A unique opportunity to discover this ancient art. Return to the boat.
Experience: Porto by tram and the Portuguese Tram Museum. With the tram's rigging, explore the picturesque streets of Porto to the mouth of the Douro River. A stop at the tram museum will allow you to see a unique collection that traces a century of Porto's tram history. A tasting of local specialties will conclude the visit. Return to the ship. Gala evening.

Porto Guimaraes Porto
Free morning in Porto. Optional excursions: Authentic: Guimarães. Departure by coach to... see+ Guimarães. Considered the cradle of Portugal, Guimarães was the birthplace of Afonso Henriques, the country's first king. The medieval heart of the city, located within the city walls, has been classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Experience: the typical neighborhood of Afurada. This unusual walk will take you to the typical neighborhood of Afurada. Visit to the Afurada Heritage Interpretation Center. Located in the old fishing district, this space was designed to promote ocean-related traditions and crafts. Through permanent and temporary exhibitions related to the village's traditions, such as fishing tools and traditional costumes, it allows visitors to learn about the daily life and cultural traits of this community. Free time in the Afurada neighborhood, a charming little fishing village that has retained its soul. In a popular atmosphere, stroll through the narrow streets lined with colorful houses and azulejos. A tasting of seafood is a must. Return to the boat. Folkloric evening on the side of the boat.

Drive to the Stock Exchange Palace (inside). Visit this magnificent... see+ 19th-century manor house in the heart of the city's historic center, a marvel of neoclassical architecture steeped in history. The Stock Exchange was built in 1834 by the Porto Commercial Association, which still occupies it today. After taking a beautiful granite and carved marble staircase, you'll visit the former Commercial Court room, the Golden Room and the Arab Salon, oval in shape and decorated with stained glass, arabesque and wood carvings to imitate Arab stucco (a material that imitates marble). You will then visit an azulejo workshop.
