Mahé boasts nearly 70 fine sandy beaches framed by iconic granite rocks, bathed in crystal-clear waters renowned for their rich marine life. The island is also famous for its stunning mountain panoramas accessible via hiking trails, such as the Morne Seychellois, which rises 905 meters above the Indian Ocean. Mahé is also an island steeped in history, where beautiful colonial estates and Creole houses coexist, not to mention the wonderful Victoria Botanical Garden.

La Digue Island is a true gem that encapsulates all the beauty of the Seychelles archipelago.... see+ Located 6 km southeast of Praslin, this small slice of paradise, despite its modest size (5 km by 3 km), is the third-largest island in the Seychelles! Turquoise waters inviting you to swim, lush vegetation home to giant tortoises, fine sandy beaches fringed with coconut palms and surrounded by the iconic pink-hued granite boulders, such as the famous Anse Source d'Argent – the postcard-perfect setting… Authentic and well-preserved, the island moves at a peaceful pace, where the only means of transport along its small roads are bicycles or traditional ox carts.

Depending on the season, enjoy the swimming pool or soak up the sun. This non-stop crossing will also be an opportunity to attend conferences or shows, depending on the onboard program, or to do some shopping at the boutique and meet the photographers in their dedicated space. At sea - Seychelles Astove Island
Closer to Madagascar than to Victoria, Astove is the southernmost island of the Seychelles. It is... see+ part of the Aldabra group in the Outer Islands of Seychelles. Currently uninhabited, this coral island covered in coconut trees was once home to workers in the coconut plantations. Known for the richness of its underwater environment, the Astove Atoll is now a prime destination for fishing enthusiasts. It also attracts experienced divers, who come to explore the “Astove Wall,” a 40-meter deep underwater fissure covered with corals, frequented by many fish and green turtles.

Astove Island Aldabra
Located in the south-west of the Seychelles, the immense Aldabra atoll is considered one of the... see+ planet's last unspoilt areas. It is home to the world's largest colony of giant land tortoises, as well as numerous birds, including Pacific frigatebirds. A Unesco World Heritage site, this slightly elevated, circular tongue of land comprises four large coral islands. Separated by narrow passes, they enclose a large shallow lagoon, offering a superb natural spectacle. Aldabra Island of Assumption
Assumption Island is part of the Aldabra (Outer Islands) group, located in the southwest of the... see+ Seychelles archipelago. Discovered in the mid-18th century by the French captain Nicolas Morphey, this bean-shaped island, covered with dunes and shrubs, is relatively flat. A handful of people live in a small village on the western side of the island. The island's beaches are a major nesting and breeding ground for sea turtles. The surrounding waters are also ideal for scuba diving. It was here that Jacques-Yves Cousteau filmed some of the scenes in his famous documentary “The Silent World”, released in 1956.

At sea - Seychelles Kilwa Kisiwani
Close to the Tanzanian coast, around 300 km south of Dar es Salaam, the island of Kilwa Kisiwani is... see+ a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Occupied from the 9th to the 19th century, it reached its peak in the 13th and 14th centuries. The Moroccan explorer Ibn Battouta described it as “one of the most beautiful cities in the world”. An ancient Swahili trading town, the island prospered around the trade in gold and ivory from the hinterland. The remains of its ancient port city cover a large part of the island. Those of its superb Great Mosque, the oldest surviving mosque on the East African coast, are well worth a visit.

Kilwa Kisiwani Pemba
The second largest island in the Zanzibar archipelago, Pemba seduces, astonishes and fascinates.... see+ Let yourself be enchanted by the songs of the island women, on the fine sandy beaches, harvesting red seaweed at low tide. A sight like no other in the world! With its rolling hills and fertile soils, the island nicknamed the “Green Island” is bordered by little-visited shores, vibrant with authenticity. Banana trees, coconut palms, clove trees, nutmeg trees... its lush vegetation ensures local production of the spices for which it is famous (cloves, mainly, but also nutmeg, vanilla, cinnamon, turmeric, pepper...).

Pemba Misali
Renowned for its seabed, Misali became a protected conservation area in 1998. It is therefore... see+ possible to swim and admire the seabed, but not to fish. Conditions permitting, you may be lucky enough to spot a variety of underwater fauna. To the north-east of the island, a white sandy beach, bathed in crystal-clear turquoise water, is an ideal place to relax.

Misali Zanzibar

A mythical stopover on the legendary route to India, Zanzibar still... see+ retains a whiff of adventure. Off the Tanzanian coast, the “spice island” abounds in natural treasures, such as the Jozani forest, a remnant of the immense primeval forest that once covered the island's unique ecosystem. The rare red-crested colobus, an endemic monkey of the region, can be seen here. This stopover is also an opportunity to discover the “stone city”, Zanzibar's Unesco-listed historic center: a veritable labyrinth of narrow streets lined with houses built of coral stone, it is home to sumptuous buildings of multiple architectural styles, the result of a blend of African, European and Indian cultures.
