Boarding a boat. Welcome cocktail. Buffet lunch on board then departure on tender to discover pearl... see+ farming in Halong Bay. Visit to the Tung Sau pearl farm. On the way back, after a short sail, your boat moors alongside a beach. From here, you can climb up onto a hill to admire the view. Early morning Tai Chi session on the Pont Soleil. After breakfast, departure to explore the Sung... see+ Sot cave, nicknamed the Cave of Surprises. Access to the cave is via a climb of 138 steps. Transfer to the airport and flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City in the morning.... see+ Departure for a panoramic tour through the main avenues of the city center to discover the colonial past of the former southern capital: the Reunification Palace (exterior view), the former presidential palace and a symbol of the fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975; the majestic Notre-Dame Cathedral of Ho Chi Minh City; and the famous Central Post Office built by Eiffel. Transfer to the Sofitel Plaza 5* hotel (or similar) and lunch, followed by check-in to the rooms. Tan Chau Phnom Penh
Arrival in Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia. Once dubbed “the Pearl of Asia”, the city was... see+ renowned for its wide, shaded boulevards and harmonious colonial architecture. Today, Phnom Penh relies on its past to develop a new ambition as a major Asian capital. In the morning, visit the Royal Palace, residence of the King of Cambodia. This complex of pavilions and pagodas makes up a vast architectural ensemble. Visit the Silver Pagoda which houses some national treasures. Then, continuation to the National Museum, the main historical and archaeological museum in the country, which presents one of the most important collections of Khmer art. Lunch on board. In the afternoon, visit the Tuol Sleng Museum. This former detention center, ominously known as S-21 between 1975 and 1979, was housed in a former high school. Here, in a calm atmosphere, the visitor can take stock of the drama experienced by the Cambodian people under the Khmer Rouge regime. Then, free time for individual discovery. Dinner on board.

Silk Island Angkor Ban

Angkor Ban is one of the very few villages not to have been burned down or destroyed during the Khmer Rouge period. It is a dive into intimate Cambodia, to the rhythm of its inhabitants. Angkor Ban Wat Hanchey Kampong Cham
Stopover at Wat Hanchey in the morning and after breakfast, visit the pre-Angkorian temple located... see+ at the top of a hill overlooking the Mekong. Dating from the 8th century, its ancient brick structures characterize the architecture of the Chenla Empire, which preceded the glory of Angkor. Back on board for lunch. In the morning, departure to discover Angkor and one of the ancient capitals of the Khmer Empire,... see+ Angkor Thom. In the center of this fortified complex with monumental gates, visit the remarkable Bayon, built by the great builder king Jayavarman VII. The temple, surrounded by towers sculpted with smiling faces, extends into the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King dominating the central square of this ancient royal city. Angkor Thom also has two important pyramid temples, the Phimeanakas and the Baphuon, the restoration of which, by the French School of the Far East, was completed in 2011. In the afternoon, visit the spectacular Ta Prohm. This temple immersed in tropical vegetation was deliberately left in a state close to that of its rediscovery at the beginning of the 20th century.

In the morning, visit the Banteay Srei temple.... see+ Nicknamed "the Citadel of Women", this flat temple surrounded by moats is a marvel, built in the 10th century, whose appearance has retained a remarkable freshness. Supported by laterite, the pink sandstone has been sculpted with extreme finesse. Lunch in a restaurant in town. Continuation by the Temple of Angkor Wat, the largest of the temples of the site of Angkor, whose majesty and harmony constitute a culmination of Khmer art. The exterior galleries, decorated with sculptures and narrative bas-reliefs, support a central sanctuary, the kingdom of the gods. Return to the hotel.
