Early in the morning, a Tai Chi session on Sable Bridge. After breakfast, departure to explore the... see+ Dark and Bright Cave (Hang Sang). Then return to the ship and sail to the Tuan Chau pier. Disembark and depart by bus for Haiphong (60 km). Lunch en route to Haiphong Airport. Flight to Saigon to begin your Mekong River cruise.
Transfer to the 5-star Mai House Hotel (or similar) and check-in. Continue the tour of Saigon with a visit to the History Museum, which houses significant collections spanning from prehistoric times to the Nguyen Dynasty. Dinner in town. Overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a tour of Ben Thanh Market, where a large number of stalls... see+ selling local products are concentrated. Free time before lunch at the hotel. Transfer to My Tho. En route, visit a lacquerware factory.
Upon arrival in My Tho, board the ship and settle into your cabins. In the late afternoon, stop in Vinh Long and visit the Van Thanh Mieu Temple, built in 1864, followed by a traditional Hat Boi performance.
Return to the ship for cocktails and a welcome dinner on board.

After breakfast, we’ll set out in small boats to reach Tan Phong Island. We’ll take a walk to... see+ learn how decorative items are made from water hyacinths. The morning continues with a ride in small vehicles through the fruit orchards. Stop at a garden for an introduction to exotic fruits. Before returning to the ship, take a boat ride past the Gothic cathedral in Cai Be and meet a family making rice paper and coconut candies. Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, arrival in Sa Dec, where the French writer Marguerite Duras spent part of her childhood. City tour to soak up the atmosphere of this lively delta town, imbued with a Mediterranean charm and home to a few remaining colonial-era houses. Visit the “Chinese House,” described in *The Lover* and now converted into a small museum, followed by a Cao Dai temple—a syncretic religion with a strong presence in southern Vietnam. Explore the colorful local market.

Return to the ship for lunch. Sail toward the Cambodian border. In the afternoon, the ship stops at the border to complete the formalities for exiting Vietnam and entering Cambodia. Dinner on board.

Vietnam-Cambodia border Phnom Penh
Arrival in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. Once known as the “Pearl of Asia,” the city is... see+ renowned for its parks lined with majestic trees and its charming colonial architecture. At the Royal Palace, Phnom Penh draws on its past to pursue a new vision, having become one of the most dynamic capitals in Southeast Asia. The business and embassy district consists of villas and mansions. Take a stroll to explore the National Museum. Then, continue on to the National Museum. Close to the country’s National Museum of History and Archaeology, you’ll later discover the famous Khmer art collections.
Lunch in the city.
In the afternoon, visit the Tuol Sleng Museum (Genocide Museum), which was a high school converted into Security Prison 21 between 1975 and 1979, and where the former premises are located. A powerful reminder not to forget the crimes of the Khmer Rouge. Return to downtown for lunch on your own.
Return to the boat, with a stop at Vat Phnom Hill, a picturesque shrine dedicated to Lady Penh, after whom the city is named. On board, enjoy an evening performance of traditional Khmer dances.
