Motor yacht charter Greece

Last updated on 16 February 2026

Why rent a motorboat in Greece?

With a motor yacht charter in Greece, you will have the opportunity to discover this country, considered the cradle of Western civilization. There are many opportunities in Greece and your motorboat will allow you to do different things every day. You can visit the capital, Athens, one of the oldest cities in the world, before setting off on a tour of the Cyclades. Comprising 24 inhabited islands, they include the most emblematic Greek islands such as Paros, Mykonos, Naxos… Finally, you will also have the opportunity to discover the island of Zakynthos.

The best places to sail in Greece

No visit to Greece is complete without starting with the capital, Athens, known for its ancient monuments and museums. Once you have visited the city, which generally takes no more than 2-3 days, it is time to board your boat and head for the Cyclades! To find out which islands to visit, you need to know what you want to do there. If you want to go hiking, Amorgos and Andros will be the most suitable. If you prefer lazing on the beach, the islands of Naxos and Milos are perfect for you. Looking for peace and quiet and a rest with the family? Head for Paros, Tinos or Serifos. Finally, for those who like to stay up late, Santorini, Mykonos and Ios are unmissable. There are hundreds of possible sailing itineraries in the Cyclades, depending on what you feel like doing. You could also head for Crete and discover the largest Greek island. Its ancient sites and white sandy beaches will surprise you. Finally, you can take to the open sea and set off to discover the island of Zante, also known as Zakynthos, in the middle of the Aegean Sea. The landscape is incredible, with its mountain ranges and beaches stretching for several kilometers.

When to go to Greece?

Greece is known for its hot, dry summers. If you want to visit Greece, we recommend that you do so between April and October. Althoughit is very pleasant to go there in summer because of the temperatures, spring and fall offer better conditions to discover Greece and its islands in peace. Temperatures are slightly lower and the sea breeze cools the atmosphere.
