Located in northern Poland, the town of Mikolajki is unbelievably beautiful! It seems to come straight out of a dream with its magnificent red-roofed houses, bright sunshine, green meadows and turquoise waters. An endless vacation awaits you in this wonderful town in the Polish region of Warmia-Masuria.

Fun and relaxation in Mikolajki

The town of Mikolajki is located close to magnificent tourist spots. The great Masurian Lakes, including Sniardwy, are a real sanctuary for water sports enthusiasts. A stay in this stunning town is enhanced by fun activities such as sailing, wakeboarding and kitesurfing.

Boat trips on the lakes with a river yacht charter in Mikolajki, a must for boaters, are a must! Your trips will take you from lake to lake, from Sniardwy to Bełdany or from Talty to Jagodne. The possibilities seem endless!

As for the Pisz forest adjoining the town, it offers enjoyable activities such as carriage rides. Hiking, cycling and horse riding are also popular. Children will obviously love a little mushroom picking session in the Pisz forest.

Discovering its heritage

Mikolajki is a pitch-perfect place to discover cultural heritage. For lovers of religious monuments, the 15th-century church of Saint Nicholas is a must-see. The neoclassical Trinity Protestant Church, built in 1840, will appeal to lovers of beautiful architecture. It overlooks the town and is located at the very spot where Lake Talty and Lake Sniardwy meet.

The Reformation museum, housed in a former parish church, is also well worth a visit. Next door, the Arkmérite wellness center is the perfect place to recharge your batteries between visits. But above all, don't forget to stroll across the Place de la Liberté and take a photo in front of the Sielaw fountain. Finish off your city stroll by doing some shopping at the lively Mikolajki market before you set sail. It will be a great opportunity to mingle with the friendly locals!
