Catamaran Lagoon 50 charter
Fitting neatly between the Lagoon 450 and 50, the Lagoon 50 was presented by the Bordeaux-based shipyard for the 2017 edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival and seems to perfectlymeet the expectations of sailors in search of a large boat with a seaworthy character and contemporary design. With a new visual identity, the Lagoon 50 also retains the very comfortable and practical features that characterize the Lagoon ranges.
The Lagoon 50 has new rigging and a hull design that greatly increases its performance. Like all Lagoon ranges, this cruising catamaran was designed by Van Pethegem Lauriot Prévost, the specialist in prestigious regatta boats. It enjoys balanced sailing performance thanks to the mast which has been moved further back. In keeping with the new 2017-2018 range, the Lagoon 50 also has a shorter boom and a mainsail capable of capturing a better air flow, boosting its performance.
on the outside of the Lagoon 50, safety is ensured by a flybridge with two secure access points for greater comfort. On the helm side, the relaxation area is huge and visibility is optimized. The helm has a large, discreet storage area under the seats where you can hide the cushions. Communication between the outside and the inside is perfectly fluid. The retractable panoramic windshield in the center provides better ventilation for the living area and cockpit and also encourages interaction with the passengers in the bow.
Open to the sea, the rear cockpit has a spacious modular dining area, removable bench seats and a dedicated storage space to accommodate large and small families alike. The Lagoon 50 also has a second cockpit, allowing you to make the most of the foredeck.
A warm and friendly atmosphere emanates from the interior of the Lagoon 50. An ambience that flows from innovative architecture and interior design by Nauta Design. The choice of interior woodwork and upholstery adds a contemporary touch to its spacious interior spaces. Designed on two levels, the living area offers two distinct and communicating living spaces. The large, fully equipped U-shaped galley opens onto the cockpit. In the cabins, the light is optimized by the large panoramic windows and adds to the feeling of comfort, even in a rough sea.
