Catamaran Lagoon 500 charter
Want to cruise the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean in comfort and safety? Opt for a Lagoon 500 yacht charter. This 15.5-meter-long and 8-meter-wide vessel, which comes out of the Lagoon shipyard in France, has all the amenities to make your cruise a pleasant one.
The Lagoon 500, a magnificent catamaran designed by Vincent Lauriot Prévost, was launched in 2005. It was designed to enable you to discover the pleasures of luxury sailing. Its design and interior finish (optional Alpi teak), conceived by Marc Van Peterghem, have been designed to make your stay unforgettable.
The sailboat is embellished with spacious, comfortable and bright cabins with a headroom of 2.03 meters. Mooring alongside, couples and lovers of peace and quiet will readily enjoy their room with a small private lounge, bathroom and separate toilet. As for your guests' cabins, they have a bed with lateral access on both sides. Each cabin also has its own fully independent bathroom.
The living area, galley and cockpit of the Lagoon 500 are bathed in light. Large vertical windows flood the spacious living area with light. The particularly wide gangways make it easier for passengers to move around. As for ventilation, fresh air is circulated through several opening deck hatches. The forward cockpit offers you an unobstructed view of the horizon. Note that the cockpit table can be stowed in the ceiling.
Amateur yachtsmen are not the only ones to enjoy the pleasures of sailing on board the Lagoon 500. For while every part has been designed for optimal comfort, the catamaran's components have been chosen to facilitate its maneuvering.
The Aileron, for example, has a gull wing to help it pass through the waves. The Lagoon 500 has fully protected rear skirts and is built in a sandwich structure (polyester and fiberglass). The mast is fixed to the deck. The Sloop-rigged cabin sailboat has a wheel-mounted helm and two rudder blades.
