Rent a sailboat CNB
Born of the passion of two men for boats, Olivier Lafourcade and Dieter Gust, the shipyard Construction Navale Bordeaux was established in 1987 on the right bank of the Garonne.Famous for its 5-mast France II, built in 1911, the CNB initially specialized in the construction of large aluminum sailing ships. Over the years, the shipyard produced splendid sailing ships, such as the Mari cha II, built in 1989. However, it was not until 1992, the year in which CNB joined the group and leader Bénéteau, that the shipyard turned to the creation of pleasure sailing boats. And so it was that, towards the end of the 20th century, specifically in 1997, the shipyard Construction Navale Bordeaux unveiled its brand new catamarans and pleasure craft to the world and to amateur sailors. These boats will continue to evolve from 2008 onwards, to the delight of luxury enthusiasts, who can now afford the privilege of renting one of these magnificent yachts with their pure. The CNB Bordeaux 77, for example, will meet the expectations of yachtsmen looking for luxury and comfort with its small contemporary design saloon and large sofas that invite you to relax.CNB pitch by pitchShortly after its inauguration, the CNB shipyard was already aiming very high by specializing in the construction of large, top-of-the-range boats for a wealthy clientele. The company called on German Frers, a renowned designer and architect, to design its first three yachts. The interior carpentry was entrusted to the famous Cathelineau company from Bacalan.Four months after the delivery of the 28.50-meter sailboat, in July 1988, the shipyard rolled three new high-end boats out of its factories. Its workforce grew to 50 and its reputation soared to the topmast. CNB also acquired this reputation from 1992, thanks to its new majority shareholder, Bénéteau. «The multiple possible synergies between the two projects should help to accelerate its development», say the Vendéen managers.Bénéteau is very optimistic and has therefore entrusted it with the construction of the «large» Lagoon boats of 50 feet and over. With its perfect mastery of the world of luxury and custom-made products, the Bordeaux-based company is the best qualified to produce such a top-of-the-range product. At the same time, CNB is diversifying its activities and continuing to innovate by presenting its very first motorboat, the Voyager 1, to the general public. The construction of this new cruising houseboat also heralds the birth of the CNB Pro activity, which focuses on the construction of several boats for professionals of the sea.CNB Yacht Builder also began to expand after the release of the Victoria T, the very first 33-meter sailboat ever built by the company. Proof that the Bordeaux shipyard targets a particularly wealthy clientele, highly coveted by some fifteen shipyards. Launched in 2014, the CNB 76 is a very fine example of its luxurious yachts. Designed by Philippe Briand, 17 units were produced and they are captivating with their clever proportions.
