Tricat Yachts
The Tricat shipyard, the oldest French trimaran builder, has built more than 140 boats to date and offers a full range of transportable and foldable trimarans from 20 to 30 feet. Antoine Houdet, manager of the Tricat shipyard, has a background in ocean racing and regattas and has accumulated more than 50,000 nautical miles on the water in multihulls and boats with one hull. In 1988, he designed a modern sports trimaran, the TRICAT 22. This is characterized by its speed, its maximum sensations with more stability for safety and a higher load capacity. In 2003, in the light of its great success, he set up the TRICAT shipyard to produce and market this new trimaran. In 2006, the team created the TRICAT 25, a family cruising trimaran that allows it to touch a wider audience. A sports version was released in 2008. Tricat trimarans are distinguished by their speed. Less common than catamaran charters, pleasure trimaran charters are just as enjoyable. They are very stable, friendly, well-equipped, easy to maneuver and offer a unique design. The cockpit of a Tricat is large, so it is possible to sail as a family without getting in each other's way. Today, the range offered by Tricat is coherent and future tenants can choose the trimaran they need according to its use. Indeed, it is just as possible to opt for a racing trimaran as for a pleasure trimaran thanks to the diversity of models offered by the manufacturer Tricat.
The Tricat shipyard stands out for the design and construction of its trimarans from A to Z in Brittany. Tricat boats are seaworthy, simple, responsive and very safe, both for solo sailing and for families.
