Yacht charter

Last updated on 8 April 2025

The Marina Bas-du-Fort is ideally located close to Pointe-à-Pitre, close to magnificent tourist sites and the airport. It has become famous in the maritime world for hosting the Route du Rhum and other renowned sailing races. With a capacity of 1000 places, its pontoons were renovated in 2003.

Want to enjoy a relaxing cruise in Guadeloupe? Consider a yacht charter from the Bas-du-Fort Marina. The Bas-du-Fort Marina is a real haven of peace located close to the center of Pointe-à-Pitre.

Family vacation in Bas-du-Fort

Who hasn't heard of Bas-du-Fort, this exceptional peninsula of Guadeloupe, nestled at the very entrance to the gulf? A paradise that opens on one side to the sea and on the other directly to the port. This magical place also has captivating tourist attractions that are well worth a visit.

Before leaving the port and in order to devote yourself entirely to your favorite activities, take the time to visit the surroundings of Bas-du-Fort. This short walk will delight young and old alike. The children will be keen to get to the famous Grand Aquarium de la Guadeloupe, located a few minutes from the port, in the south of Grande-Terre. Considered the largest in the Caribbean, this aquarium is home to an incredible underwater biodiversity. After this little tour of the region's marine treasures, your stroll continues at the Costumes and Traditions Museum. You will find costumes marking the era of the Afro-Indian civilization.

Have fun at the Bas-du-Fort Marina

As for entertainment, the Marina is home to a splendid beach, also called Plage Fleur. With its seawall, this artificial beach with coconut palm-lined paths and white sand is ideal for indulging in the sweetness of doing nothing.

As for water sports enthusiasts, they will be in their element at the Bas-du-Fort Marina. If the Marina is one of the most popular sites for water sports enthusiasts, it is above all because most of the world's famous sailing races take place there. One example is the famous Route du Rhum.

And if you're looking for a moment of escape at sea, a little yacht charter at the Marina is a must. You can veer off for a romantic dive or try out a water-jet-powered motorized craft with the family in the open sea off the sandy shores of Bas-du-Fort.
