Jirnsum: the jewel of Holland
Are you familiar with Holland? It is known as the Land of Water, because it is nestled between a magnificent chain of lakes and the wonderful Wadden Sea. Straddling Pikmeer and Sneekermeer, Irnsum is clearly one of the must-see villages in the province of Friesland.

But this walk will also allow you to admire the most beautiful architectural works in this part of Holland, such as the most famous dyke in Holland, the Afsluitdijk. The port of Harlingen, the village of Makkum, Stavoren and Hindeloopen are also well worth a visit.
