Yacht charter

Last updated on 8 April 2025

The yacht charter at Marina Solila is an excellent point of departure for discovering the most beautiful natural treasures of Montenegro. marina Solila is in fact located on the famous Bay of Kotor and the magnificent towns and cities hauled in along the side of the boat on the Gulf of Kotor and Tivat, in the south of Montenegro.

Among the must-see cities to visit during your stopover at Marina Solila, we will unhesitatingly mention the ancient Roman city of Kotor, the majestic city of Tivat with its breathtaking natural scenery, and the coastal city of Budvaof Budva and its Venetian architecture. Strolling through one of these splendid cities with their timeless charm is simply like being transported to a distant world. Herceg Novi and the city of Bar are also worth including in your travel plans. These charming towns, heaving with history and hauled in along the sides of the Bay of Kotor, will allow you to discover their most precious 17th-century architecture, such as the forts, churches and palaces that valiantly fight against time.

There are also many seaside resorts awaiting pleasure boaters. Becici beach is the most famous, and certainly the longest in Montenegro, and seems perfectly suited for families. Don't hesitate to also try the culinary specialties based on fish and shellfish.

Discover the Lušćica peninsula

Located in Tivat Bay, Solila Marina will be an interesting point of departure for visiting the Lušćica Peninsula. Occupying an area of 47 km2, the peninsula is home to a number of picturesque villages where it is pleasant towalk there in summer, such as Babunci and Krašići, a charming village located on the mountainside and facing the Adriatic. This village is certainly the most important tourist center on the peninsula.

Walks on the Lušćica peninsula will not only allow you to stretch your legs to the top of the hills, but also to enjoy the views overlooking the bays of Herceg Novi, Tivat and Boka Kotorska to the north, and the entrance to the Prelvaka peninsula to the south. Filovent invites you to join them at these destinations, which offer equally captivating activities, departing from Marina Solila.

Before heading back out to sea, why not enjoy a pleasant swim with the family? The Plavi Horizonti beach, caressed by the Adriatic Sea, will appeal to families with its shallow turquoise waters and white sand.

Discover the most beautiful attractions of the southern Adriatic

In the open sea off the coast of the Lušćica peninsula, there are lands and protected areas that you can only visit at your own pace with a yacht charter. Want to get closer to nature? Head for the Tivat Solila bird watching sanctuary. Located halfway between the Lustica peninsula and Tivat, Solila has been a nature reserve since 2008 and remains a major ornithological site. There are close to 350 species of birds, over a hundred of which have been declared endemic. Amphibians and reptiles have also made their home in these former salt marshes, recognized as a Conservation Area in 2007.
